It took around half an hour for the bus to drive into the city. Bucky was sitting and looking out of the window the whole time. So I sat there beside him silently.

He was probably thinking about Steve and prepearing for it all. I understood that he was nervous. He was going to meet Steve again after everything, and this time actually talk it through with him. He just couldn't know what would happen and neither could I.

I just hoped that we would get into the Avengers tower. That we would manage to get through and get to talk to at least one of them that knew.

Suddenly the bus stopped and it pulled Bucky out of his trance sort of thing. Together we walked out of the bus to discover that we weren't so far from the Avengers tower. We could see it there, a couple of blocks away, standing over everything else.

Bucky looked at it with sadness and fear. So I took his hand to calm him down. Bucky took a deep breath and then together we walked over to the tower.

The door was wide and when we was around a meter from it a voice sounded through the speaker. "Who are you and what sake are you here for?" It said and I knew it was JARVIS Tony Starks computer system.

"We need to talk to Tony Stark." I stepped forward and said. I was still holding Bucky's hand and therefore, dragged him with me. I thought it was smartest to ask for Tony first, he was the owner of the tower and all.

"Mr. Stark is not home." The kind of metallic voice said back.

"What about Steve Rogers?" Bucky said and I could practically feel him shaking.

"He is here yes, should I tell him something for you? If you are friends of him he can let you in." JARVIS said and Bucky nodded.

"Tell him it's important, urgent, tell him it's Bucky." He said and then the voice answered him back.

"I will, wait a moment sir." Then it was silent for several minutes. Bucky and I stood there looking at each other.

Then suddenly the door swung open and in the doorway, stood Captain America. When he saw Bucky his face was pure shock. Then he quickly stepped aside and let us inside the door. He closed it and then turned to face us.

"Steve I'm so sorry, for everything. I was just hoping that you'd forgive me, be my friend again." Bucky said and pulled his hood off.

The two stood in silence for a while before Steve finally managed to say something. "Your friend?! You think I'm your friend?" He questioned and Bucky's face sunk. "Bucky, you're like my brother, you've always been. And what are there to forgive you for? You have done nothing wrong!"

They stood in silence for another moment, and then hugged each other. Just like long lost brothers. Bucky's eyes were blank when he looked at me over Steve's shoulder.

"I'm sorry Cap, I really am." Bucky whispered into Steve's shoulder.

"I'm sorry too Buck." Steve said back. Then they let go of each other. Again they stood in silence for a while. Then Bucky smiled slightly. He held out his hand, like for Steve to shake. He smiled as well.

"Peace?"

"Peace."

Then they laughed and hugged one another again. I can say, even though I were not one of them. That was one of the best moments of my life. To see the two united again. To see Bucky so happy and carefree. It was absolutely amusing.

Steve was right, they were just like brothers.
