Chapter 3; The Goodbye

I woke up in a messy room, it is Saturday and it's currently 9:09 AM, today was the day before our moving. Exciting..? I think. I don't know yet.

My dad is very excited though, and so is my sister. Even though she has to leave all her friends, the idiot doesn't even understand. Hopefully she makes new friends, as much as I hate her I don't want her being alone.

I stumbled out of my bed and went to my drawer, they don't have that much clothes because half my clothes are in my suitcase.

So I pulled out a pair of black leggings and a plain white t-shirt and walked out my bedroom door.

My house never looked cleaner, my dad has been doing extra cleaning because of the whole moving situation. I can't believe someone actually wants to buy this place, well I mean. We did so, I can't really say anything, heh.

" Hey! Are you excited to move out tomorrow? I hear we're going to a new school, CHS. " My stupid loud sister basically yelled at me.

I looked down at her and slightly smiled, I didn't really feel talking at the moment, I'm still really sleepy and upset.

Once I got to the kitchen to have breakfast my dad laid down a plate of scrambled eggs, bacon and some sausage in-front of me.

I smiled before grabbing my fork and started picking the stuff I wanted to eat, I started off with the eggs and then sausage and saved the best for last, the bacon.

I'm a huge fan of bacon, you could put down a huge plate full of bacon down in front of me and I'd probably eat it in a estimate of two minutes. I sound like a pig, I'm not like Scootaloo, promise.

After I eaten my breakfast I sprinted upstairs to brush my teeth and hair, and this time since I wasn't in any rush I did my hair properly.

After I got ready for the day I went back downstairs and sat on the sofa. I heard my phone go off again so I got it out and checked who it was.

An unknown caller was calling my phone, I just hung up thinking they got the wrong number and then continued doing absolutely nothing at all. But I was once again interrupted by another call, from the same caller.

Maybe they didn't get the wrong number? I thought to myself before debating on if I should answer or not.

" Who's that? " I heard my dads voice from above my head.

I looked up at him before answering his question, " I don't even know, but they called me twice today. " I shrugged.

He looked at me then my phone with a confused look plastered on his face, I don't blame him though. An unknown caller had called me two times in a row.

I locked my eyes onto the callers ID until it hung up, and there again the same ID caller called once again.

Maybe it really is important and they're trying to get ahold of me, or someone gave them my number thinking it was someone else so they keep calling thinking it's that person, or it's one of my friends trying to get ahold of me, I just kept brainstorming.

Once I decided to finally answer the caller and when the caller spoke up my eyes widened.

" Is this Rainbow Dash? " The caller with a somewhat familiar voice answered.

" Yes, who's calling? "

" Zaps mother. " She answered.

No wonder she sounded so familiar, she's my girlfriends mother.

" Oh, hey. Why is your number an unknown? And why are you calling? " I asked trying my best to not sound rude.

" I got a new phone. " She answered, I could hear it in her voice she's excited. " And I'm calling you because Zap is waiting for you at the park. "

She is? She didn't even tell me, how was I supposed to know, and what if she's been there for hours? Oh shit.

" Oh? She didn't tell me. " I nervously chuckled.

I heard Zaps mother chuckle as well, " Then you better get moving. " And after that she hung up.

I got up and sighed, it's not that I don't want see Zap, it's the fact I don't want to walk all the way to the park.

After my moment of just sitting there looking out the window I finally started to walk and put my shoes on.

" Dad I'm going out. " Those were my last words before walking out the door and making my way to the park.

When I got to the park I seen Zap sitting on a bench, she looked kinda upset by the way she was slouched down and looking at the ground.

I walked up to her and sat down beside my lover wrapping my arm around her and pulling her in close, but what shocked me the most is how she removed my arm and pulled away from my hug.

" Z-Zap, are you okay.? " I mumbled.

She looked at and we stared into each other's eyes for a short while before she broke the stare to look at the ground once again.

Again, I asked her if something was wrong and still no answer, until the third time she finally opened her mouth. Only for it to shut before words could come out of it, what's wrong with you Zap?

And finally, she talked but I wanted her to stop talking as soon as she started, because the start... wasn't so good.

" Rainbow Dash, I hope you know I love you, right? " She started, but she was struggling to talk due to continuous sobs. " But- I think it's time we just continue as fri-friends. "

I couldn't believe what I am hearing, my heart, it's being crushed like as if it a dump truck was driving over it, no. A thousand dump trucks were driving over it, one by one.

" W-What? " I managed to ask still trying to hold in my sobs, even though it was quite clear I'm about to cry.

She paused, looked at me and sighed. I wanted her to look away, the tears in her eyes just tell me that it's over, for good and she does mean it.

" I said we should just be f-friends.. I love you, but you're moving so far away. And I don't think I could handle being in a long distance with the one person I crave hugging, and kissing and cuddling with. " She explained but got cut off a bunch of times from sobs.

I wanted to beg for her to stay but what I learned is, if someone wants to leave you, you have to let them go. You can't hold onto them if they don't wanna be in the relationship, even though she did.

" But-.. okay. " I was about to beg but decided to just accept things how they are right now.

We both got up from the bench and hugged each other, I was craving more affection though.

She pulled from the hug and looked at me, there in that moment she smiled which made me smile.

" Friends? "

" Of course, Zappy. " I winked. 

Then we attached our bodies together and gave each other one last hug.

After a few minutes of the disappointing news Zap and I were sitting on the bench laughing and talking, like friends.

Until she got a text from the unknown number, which is her mom. Telling her she had to go.

" Bye Dash. " She sighed.

" Goodbye, Zap. "

And that was my last time with Zappy.

Sorry if the chapter was boring I'm trying to post this book daily soo they might get boring.
