Chapter 2: Fears Grasp

Y/n's pov:

So what do you say to people who are not trying to survive on an alien planet with sea creatures , oh so desperately trying to eat you alive whilst you try to find a way off the planet with no communication to the vast beyond.
Well I'll tell you what to say: Do what you can for others that are also trapped on that planet so what might happen to you won't happen to them.

I turned to Ryley who kept swimming, kicking his feet up and down to maintain speed, in fear of dying to the dangerous predators that live in the ocean deep. "You seem pretty calm Y/n,"he said breaking the silence between us.

He's right I have been ever since we left the life pod after getting the emergency transmission from ozzy.
"I know but he sounded so scared,"as I said that I could feel the sadness in my voice.

Ryley swam over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder before saying: Let's just hope he's alright wherever he is.

I could feel the pride in his voice as he said that. It made me feel better as I started to swim faster for ozzy's sake.

"Y/n! Ryley," called out. "Wait up!"
Ryley began to swim as fast as his legs could carry him through the biome which registered as the grassy plateaus.

We both stopped in our tracks. frozen in fear as ozzy was currently swimming towards us,
nothing but his all environmental protection suit and a survival knife with a water born/snake like creature behind it.

Chapter 2.5

Ryley's pov:

By the time me and Y/n had woken up from the fear deep inside us. Ozzy wasn't far nor was he close. He was inches away from us and the creature right behind him.

Ozzy grab onto my sea glide now! Ryley half yelled. Right when ozzy managed to grab on to it, just in the nick of time.

1 hour later:

As we neared the bottom hatch of life 5. I saw Y/n going up to the surface above the water to get some oxygen.
When he brought himself back down he was already swimming back right to us.
Alright guys so what d- but he cut himself off mid sentence and clutched his head in pain.
Ryley immediately swam over to you noticing you were in pain and helped you back to the lifepod hatch located on the bottom of the flotation device and pushed it open as you had fell asleep while he was helping you back in.

Ozzy made his way through the hatch and saw Y/n asleep. So Ozzy said as he pointed towards you with his finger. "Killer migraine am I right."

I'm not so sure it was a migraine a voice spoke up as Ozzy stared at the woman and the other girl with confusion.
Who're they asked Ozzy as he directed his finger to the two lady's.

It seemed like someone was calling out Y/N's name as he was floating,his eyes closed and mind someplace else.

The scene replayed out in his mind over and over until he realized that he wasn't seeing things and that a being was telepathically speaking to him with its mind.

But just than he snapped back to reality and a static crackling sound could be heard from the radio. For a few seconds it felt like another pulse of static feedback from the Aurora,but than a transmission from a person the group never expected to be alive could be heard.
