A familiar song played while I was about to start my Homily. And a woman raised her right hand.
"I'm so sorry, Brother." A familiar voice said.
"It's okay." I smiled and continued my Homily.
"I'm really sorry about earlier Brother Ely, I..."
"No need to worry about that and you don't need to explain." I cut her off and winked.
And when she was about to say anything, I hugged her.
"Uh, thanks?" She was confused, but hugged me back.
"I never had the chance to do this earlier because, you know, you said you were late. Yet here you are, you never told me that this will be your destination." I winked.
"I was getting late." She mumbled.
"Aha, yes. Haha! So..." I chuckled but was cut off, again.
"It seems you two already know each other." Said Mr. Sebastian.
"Ah yes, we met before going here." I smiled.
"Should I introduce myself first?" Mr. Sebastian asked.
"I'm Sebastian Andrada and this is my sister, Katherine Andrada. I know you already know our name, but I figured Kath never introduced herself properly... So yeah..." He chuckled.
"All...the time, brother." She annoyingly said.
Both I and Mr. Sebastian laughed.
"Oh look at the time. I should get going, need to fulfill my duty here. Bye Brother Ely." He winked and rushed in front of the auditorium.
"So, he is your brother..." I awkwardly asked.
"I supposed he was." She mumbled.
"Not in good terms is it with him?"
"No, no. I was just kidding. Yes, he is my older brother." She laughed.
Wait a minute....why is my heart went crazy....when she laughed....
"Aha!" I awkwardly laughed.
"Soooo..." We both said.
The bell rung....
"So I should probably be going, first day and don't know yet what will happen. So bye." She smiled.
"See you then?" I asked.
"See you when I see you Brother Ely." She chuckled, then went her way to her room.
Kath's P.O.V.
"Aha!" He awkwardly laughed.
Weird, I guessed my joke was that bad. Anyway, as I was walking to get into my room...
"Hi." Someone said out of nowhere.
"What on earth!" Yep, I startled. Lol.
"So sorry Ma'am?" He asked.
"Katherine."
"Nice to meet you Ma'am Katherine. Jimenez, Andy Jimenez. Yep, a fan of James Bond indeed." He chuckled.
"Nice to meet you too, Sir Andy."
"I was about to talk with you earlier, but I saw you were talking with Brother..."
"Ely, Brother Ely."
"It seems you two have a thing..." He hushed.
"Sorry, but we are not close for me to tell you my story. So if you'll excuse me." I said earnestly and went inside the room.
"Good morning, Ma'am Andrada!" My class greeted me as I was about to sit.
"Good morning, Cadets!"
"As you probably all know that I am Katherine Andrada. I will be your instructor for this subject. So if you don't mind, please introduce yourself in front, one by one."
"Mr. Reyes?" I asked.
"Reyes, Randy Reyes. San Carlos City. Guys, I am very single, anyone with a single sister there? I am very much available, depends on whom you'll recommend. My age is between 1 to 17, it is up to you to decide whether you bother to think about it. My favorite hugot line? ("Hugot" a filipino word refers to drawing emotions, somewhat deep, from somewhere deep within your inner self.) 'It hurts when the love of your life left you. But what is more painful than that? It is when you searched your wallet anywhere and it is nowhere to be found.' Thank you." Mr. Reyes said and got a round of applause.
"Thank you very much for that witty speech. Don't worry, you have my vote for the election. Hahaha!" I laughed so hard and so did they.
"Everyone, don't hesitate to promote happiness, especially in this room. Just be your true color, but just the good side, okay?" Next Mr...." I stopped as someone knocked at the door...
