Scattered sunlight veered into my eyes as I slowly opened them. Deep thoughts wandered as I vividly recalled my bizarre dream. What on earth is happening? That was the last thing that will definitely will come into my mind.
"I know for sure that this is what God wanted me to do; to spend my whole life loving you." An unknown man vowing and eyes shot earnestly in my inquisitive eyes.
Who was that fondly man wearing glorious vestment, vowed to me in front of the altar in our wedding day?! 'Yes! Wedding day! And yes! He is a priest! Or was? I don't know!
Days went by so fast that made me forget about it, yet days like those would come, the days where flash back of your dream will haunt you then thoughts everywhere kickoff. I even remembered where the same unknown man was in my dream last year, same scenario where we were at a church in our wedding day, in front vowing!
I know, who would overthink of such dreams huh? Me! Duh! Let me tell you this delineated about me, I already have my degree, had a license for my profession called officer in charge in navigational watch. I have few more trainings to get to be on board the ship.
As I got off the elevator, the church in front of the training center.
"Going to church again, ma'am?" One of the security guard asked me with a big smile in his face.
"How did you know?" I asked half joking.
"In many years of me work here, you're the only trainee that goes to church every day." He simply said.
I just smiled and left. I guess the thought that I am a good person huh? I will disagree with that in my thought.
"Are you going to confess too?" An old lady asked.
"Ah yes, is it here?" I awkwardly asked.
She just nodded and smiled. As we waited, my turn came. As I walked in the confession room and closed the door and kneeled. The priest begun to say the prayer. As he finishes praying...
"Uh, hello?" He confusedly asked.
"Hello." I muttered.
"Uhm, I am not going to confess father, just gonna ask if how do people get pure soul?" I humorless asked.
"I'm sorry, but this is for confession only. If you have to ask questions, please go to our office and a priest will answer those."
"Okay, but what time does it opens and closes?"
"Sorry?" He asked confusedly.
"Oh, sorry, 'cause I have a training in front."
"Oh, you can go there anytime."
"Okay, Father, thank you." I said before I left.
Guess what? I never did go there to be face-to-face with a priest while asking that, duh! Not that I am shy or what, but I guess they will think I'm weird or what.
Father Will's P.O.V.
"Uh, hello?" I confusedly asked.
"Hello." She said.
"Uhm, I am not going to confess father, just gonna ask if how do people get pure soul?" She asked in a serious tone.
I got really confused, I've been doing this for so long that I got stuck between the lines. Why would she ask here that and why is it so intriguing that it made me think that I don't have the answer for it.
As I was coming out of the confession room, my thoughts whirled up. Did she go? I asked myself. But then I asked Sister Rosa if someone went in the office or something like that, but there were none, she said. I guess she's still busy with her training. Somehow, she made me curious about herself very much.
"Oh! Hello there dad, I mean Brother Ely!" I happily said.
"Still not used to calling me Brother, is it, Father Will?" He chuckled.
"I supposed not. Anyway, there was a woman in the confession room which did not confess at all."
"What about her?" He asked.
"She asked a very unique one which was; how do people get pure soul?"
"I think that will be your assignment for now, Father Will." He suggested.
"I supposed it is."
"I should go, we will be discussing on where I'd be serving or should I say, what Parish church
I'd be assigned. Good bye." He said and hung up.
Katherine's P.O.V.
A loud banged from the outside got both my eyes opened wide. I whined for a bit, but another banged rushed through my ears..
