"Good morning, Ma'am Andrada, I'm so sorry for being late." A student said.
"It's okay, find a vacant chair inside and be seated." I nodded.
"Our scholar and cousin of Sir Andy Jimenez. He walked 2 km to be here, yep, I know. I'll talk later to Sir Jimenez about it." And he went to go.
~·~·~·~·~·~·~·~·~·~"So where was I? Ah yes, cadets I think you all know about the punishment about the rule breakers? Anyway, don't worry about it Mr. Jimenez, I'll let you get away because you know 'first day'." I said with a smile.
"Okay, next will be Mr. 'Suave'? Mr. Suave Enriquez." I smirked.
"Good morning to all, I am Suave Enriquez, yes, the Mr. Suave of Santiago City. I am a future marine officer and a suave vlogger! So guys, please support my channel @mrsuavee at Youtube and Facebook. I am 17 in age, but have a 30 year old mindset. My favorite hugot line is; 'why plan for tomorrow if you can do it today?' Thank you for watching, oops, thank you for listening." He said and vowed.
"Thank you for that Mr. Vlogger, I mean Mr. Enriquez. Next will be Mr. Ross Jimenez. I guess you already know how it is done and don't forget your favorite hugot line in your last part." I said.
"Uhm, hello to all and good morning. I...I am Ross Jimenez. I...I live in Lingayen. I'm sorry, I am not used t...o be in front of many people. I...I know it is obvious t...hat I am shy, but I just want you all to know that I am very much hoping to enjoy my time and environment here. I don't want to be a seafarer you see. I had no choice. Thank you! And my favorite hugot line is; 'it is better to be alone than be with people who don't appreciate your presence. Thank you, again." He said and immediately seated.
"Thank you for that Mr. Jimenez. Let me tell you all this, I used to be shy, but when I signed off my first ship it felt like I had some kind of new attitude. My shyness got drifted along the waves. Surely you all will have that moment in your life. I am hoping for us all to have the best days in this room and anyway, pray to God for His guidance for our future. AJA!" I raised my hand for the aja.
They all said aja and smiled. As they finished introducing themselves, I added some rules.
"Okay cadets, I will be adding some rules; First, those who will get high grades in any subject, especially to my subject will be rewarded. And lastly, respect me accordingly in this room, but I can be your friend outside this room. That is all. Thank you. Let us begin with the discussion." And I have begun discussing.

"How was your first day Ms. Katherine?"
"It went fine Brother Ely, thanks for asking. How about yours?"
"Do you really wanna know?" He chuckled.
"Honestly, I'll pass for today. Sorry Brother. And you can just call me Kath." I smiled.
"Oh hahaha. Okay Ms. 'Kath'." He winked.
"Sorry, but can I go now? I'm kinda tired. I'll take my rest for a bit." I said nicely.
"See you when I see you then?" He smirked.
"Indeed." I smiled and went inside my house.
The doorbell rung as I was getting ready for my dinner.
"Oh good evening, Brother Ely?" What seems to be the problem?" I confusingly asked.
"Good evening Ms. Kath, I'm so sorry, but I saw your 'student' outside your house just staring by the front door. Look at him." He said.
He faced the side where my student was. So I went to see who was it.
"May I help you Mr. Jimenez?"
"I'm so sorry Ma'am, but I just wanna thank you for earlier at school and I'm too shy to push the doorbell so I just stood here looking some kind of creepy when Brother Ely saw me."
"No need to thank me. Why you here this late though? And where do you live now?"
"I figured that you live next door to Sir Jimenez, I mean to his apartment."
"So have you eaten yet?" I asked.
"I haven't. My cousin went out and he thought I had my dinner already."
"Why are you even shy to your cousin? Anyway, if you want, you can join me for dinner."
"Are you sure, Ma'am?" He shyly asked.
"Come on." I smiled.
I forgot about Brother Ely...
"You're still here Brother." I awkwardly said.
"I figured to wait until you are inside your house. I should probably be going." He mumbled.
"Nonsense, you should join us for dinner." I winked.
"I had my dinner al..."
"Oh come on now. Why waste a good dinner?" I chuckled.
"Thank you." He smiled.
We all went inside and sat on the sofa.
"Let me help you." Said Brother Ely.
"Thank you, but I can manage."
"No, no. I insist." He smirked.
"Fine. You can take this and kindly put it on the table." I mumbled.
"So you are a teacher?" He asked.
"So you are a British?" I smirked.
"Hahaha! Do I even need to answer that? But yes, I am a British." He winked.
"I am a seafarer by profession, but teaching for like one semester. So why you here? Why here in the Philippines? And aren't you a priest yet?" Sorry, can't stop asking.
"Wow, that is amazing profession you have... Oh, and, well, m...y." He stops in mid sentence.
