"Sharp intake of breaths whenever I wake up from my sleep, Momentary dizziness. Meaningless day, at the end of it, is a repeat, yeah"
♬⚘♬⚘♬The car ride home was dead silent. Jisung was facing out the window, his eyes glassy as if he was on the verge of tears. The other members just took glances over at the boy. The eight arrived home and Jisung jumped out of the car, speed walking back to the dorm, he arrived and changed to the clothing he used at home, a gray oversized hoodie with black sweat pants. The blonde put on his headphones and plopped himself on the bed comfortably. The other seven males had just entered the dorm, confused to why Jisung sped out of the car. They saw the male lying comfortably on his bed, his headphones on with his eyes glued to his phone. The members just shrugged and left him alone, figuring that's what he wanted. The blonde was searching up videos of the group whilst they were in the mall. He found one and observed his face, in the video, Jisungs eyes wasn't blinking, his mouth was completely closed and his arms were freely dangling in the air. The boy rather couldn't remember what happened on their way home, it was all just a daze to him.
"You alright?" Minho asked, still concerned for the younger.
"Hm? Yeah." The blonde answered.
"You were staring at your off screen for a while now." The brunette stated, taking a seat on the younger's bed.
"Hm? I was just thinking of something." The blonde said.
"I mean, if you say so. I don't wanna sound like an American mom but, if you need someone to talk to, I'm right here, okay?" The brunette stated.
"I will, thank you." The boy lied, again.
The brunette left, still concerned for his friend who seemed to have been hiding something.
"Chan hyung?" The brunette called.
"Ah, yes Minho?" The older asked, his typing on his laptop coming to a pause.
"This is about Jisung." The brunette sighed heavily before continuing; "He's been really off lately, don't you think?" The younger asked, concerned.
"Well actually yes, I have noticed since last week. But I don't really know how to help. I have no idea how long he's been sad but I do know it's getting worse. He's been reading things that seems so secretive?" The leader stated, concerned as well. "But this is just between you and me, okay?"
"Okay, but I have another question, when was the last time he actually ate a full meal?" He asked, making the older think of it as well.
"Hm? He's always not on the dinner table so I-I don't really know Minho, right now I'm just keeping an eye on him." The leader stated, squeezing his temple.
"Okay," The younger said, leaving the room, more stressed than before.
The boys that night agreed to have dinner with stay through vlive. They spread out the tables and set the tripod up.
"1,2, Step out! Hello, we are Stray Kids!" The boys greeted happily.
"So today, we'll be eating together, virtually of course." The leader explained. "Okay, so while me, Changbin, and Minho set the table, I want you guys to read the comments, mkay?"
The boys agreed and looked at the screen, scrolling through the comments they could read.
Stay💗😚: I LOVE YOU!!!!
Minsung😌🖐: Wink for us please!
Hyunjins hair: I love you Hyunjin!!
Babygirls✨💅🏻: Where's Chan?
The comments kept going on and on, mostly in English and in Korean.
"Would you rather have 5 adult Jisung's or one 5 year old Jisung? Me? I'd say one 5 year old Jisung, one Jisung is loud enough, what about five?" Hyunjin playfully answered.
Jisung was somehow hurt? He knew himself that he was 'annoying' but hearing his friend say it, it hurt a lot more. He simply laughed it off and sat there in silence, Hyunjins words repeating again and again in his head.
"Foods here!" The eldest screamed from across the room and set the disposable plates on the table, the take out smelling delicious. Jisung put three pieces of fries on his plate and looked at it. He took one and nibbled on the end of the fry like a little hamster.
Jisung at this point didn't care anymore, he didn't bother to act happy during the live, he just sat there completely silent with two and a half pieces of fries on his plate.
"It's been one and a half ours, how bout we end it here?" The leader suggested.
"Sure, Stays are probably busy tomorrow." Minho added.
And with that, they ended the vlive. As they bid their last goodbyes, Jisung stood up and walked away from the table and left the two cold fries on his plate. The boys seemed to notice Jisung's rather weird behavior, he was never like this in front of anyone, not even his own family, so why was he so silent?
"Jisung hyung didn't laugh or even talk today." The youngest quietly stated.
"We noticed," Seungmin said, worried for his friend who seemed down today.
"Maybe he was in a bad mood today? Jisung is always happy, we're the sunshine twins." Felix reasonably argued.
"True, maybe it was just a bad mood, I mean the crowd in the mall was probably overwhelming as well." Changbin agreed.
The boys just agreed it was a 'bad mood' and nothing more, nothing less. They decided to leave the boy alone today, figuring this is most likely what he wanted, and it was. Jisung really wanted to be alone that night, he wanted to rest without having to worry if he looked happy enough, if he looked fake or not. Jisung just laid in his bed, his head clouded with dark thoughts about himself as he slowly drifted to sleep.
