Draco entered the high school party uneasily.

He laid a protective arm over his suit as he shuffled through the crowd of sweaty (and rather horny) muggles. He scanned his surroundings, his silver eyes mapping out the house and its surroundings- half-naked kids jumping into a brightly lit pool, hordes of desperate girls and guys snogging against walls, and drunkards clambering through the halls. His face scrunched up in disgust at the primal nature of the muggle gathering.

After shuffling through the throng, he found space at the top of the staircase. He leaned his arms on the railing, catching his breath as he simultaneously scanned the crowd for the girl he was looking for.

An intoxicated girl lumbered over to Draco and leaned over the railing beside him, her eyes weakly flirtatious in an effort to charm him with her drunken gaze.

"It's rrrreally cooool." She says in a slurred tone.

"What's cool?" Draco asked in an unbothered manner as he continued to search the room.

"Your black suit. Guys around here don't really put an effort into how they dress anymore."

Draco huffed, "That's because I'm not from this hellhole," he muttered under his breath.

He finally looked at the girl and realised that this muggle interaction could be of use to him.

"Listen, I'm looking for someone." He says, changing his tone from unbothered to polite.

"Have you seen this girl?"

Draco pulled out the photo from his blazer pocket and the girl shifted her position lazily in order to see the picture more clearly. She squinted for a few seconds before her eyes light up.

"Oh! Her!" The girl says eagerly.

Draco's eyes lit up as well after hearing her response.

"Yes! Where would I find her?"

The girl turned back to the crowd and searched the floor of people beneath them. She pointed to a pool table, where a large crowd had gathered around one girl. She was the centre of attention of the game, slowly leaning over the table with the cue stick to make her move.

Draco's eyes, which had been restless and constantly moving, had stopped to focus on the girl. She had shiny tresses of long black hair which rested on her shoulders with grace and her tan, her brown skin was smooth and shone effortlessly even in the harsh party lights. She wore a short, tight black dress which accentuated the curves of her figure, under a chic black leather jacket. But what caught Draco's attention the most was her expression, her dark and smoky eyes were enticing and and her lips wore a seductive smile that would leave any man entranced. In the midst of these muggles, her sensual aura made her stand out.

Draco knew a witch when he saw one.
It's her.

As if on cue, the girl, after hitting and scoring two balls in one move; looked up abruptly . Her eyes glided up the stairs slowly until she found Draco's stare. At first she squinted curiously , then her expression changed and her eyes widened in realisation.

Fuck, they're here.

The girl threw the cue stick to the side and sprinted from the pool table, heading towards the outside. Almost immediately, Draco also began to rush down the stairs. A part of him was amused at her reaction to seeing him and a part of him was amazed at how quickly she interpreted the situation and took swift action to run. Maybe there was a good reason why Dumbledore needed Draco to bring her to Hogwarts, maybe it wasn't just a pointless assignment.

He pushed through the crowd and reached the outside area of the house, where there were even more gatherings of people, blocking his sight and allowing for the girl to easily blend in. At first, he was dumbfounded , then a thought came into his mind.

Work smarter, not harder, you idiot.

He waved his wand in an effortless manner, and the whole crowd froze and became silent. Draco strolled down the yard in a relaxed manner with one hand resting in his blazer pocket. He found the girl, frozen and hiding behind a barbecue. He chuckled as he looked at the girl with a bemused expression, and then he waved his wand again, allowing for the commotion to resume.

The girl's eyes started to move again, they moved around the whole yard until she looked up to see Draco leaning against the grill in an unbothered manner. He smiled back at the girl pettily as she rose from under the grill, her face presenting a strong glare in order to hide the feeling of resentment and defeat she felt inside.

Draco removed his hand from his pocket and extended it towards the girl.

"I'm Draco, Draco Malfoy."

The girl crossed her arms and glared at Draco in a move to refuse his handshake, a move equally as petty as Draco's. Draco huffed and smiled to himself in amusement.

"Are you here to kidnap me?" The girl questioned aggressively.

Draco chuckled again.

"I'm here to escort you to Hogwarts. Dumbledore gave me clear orders to bring you to the school."

The girl groaned in frustration immediately after hearing the word Hogwarts. Draco continued to speak, not really giving a shit about what she thought about the matter.

"Now, this is not a kidnapping. But, if you try and run away again..."

He walked closer to the girl, her eyes flickered in surprise, but she stood her ground.

"The consequences will be dangerous."

Draco's words lingered in the air between them, and for a few seconds, the atmosphere turned electric as the two locked eyes. Both of them had suddenly tuned out the noise of the party, and were engaged in each other's stares. A few more moments passed.

The girl was the first to snap out of the daze. Her head turned to the house, where she heard a few girls calling her name.

"I'm coming! Just gimme a second!" She yelled back.

She turned back to Draco, who's brows were furrowed as he stared into space with confusion, wondering what the hell had just happened in the last few seconds.

"I'll cooperate, okay? But only because you guys are fucking annoying. But before I leave, I'm going to say goodbye to my friends and we're gonna stop by my house so I can pack, ok?"

Draco nodded, "Of course, it would be rude and not very gentleman-like of me to make you leave so abruptly," He said sarcastically. He dramatically took a step back and lifted his arm towards the direction of the house. "Take your time and be my guest, Miss......"

"It's Aisha. Aisha Tagore." She retorted confidently.

With that, she stormed off towards the house, muttering to herself angrily.

Gentleman-like?

Gentleman my foot.
