Aisha realised that clearly, the staff at Hogwarts did not give a shit about the social lives of their students.

Or maybe, they just didn't give a shit about hers.

Being a few years late to the whole Hogwarts curriculum, Aisha had to do things a little different. She was having intensive one-on-one classes for her first 2 weeks of school, then she would be integrated into normal classes and have two students help her with tutoring.

So for her first 2 weeks of class, she had barely talked to another student. Except for a sweet blonde girl called Luna, who she accidentally bumped into while getting lost on the way to an Office. Luna was truly a pure soul, everytime she spoke, it sounded like honey was flowing into Aisha's ears. Maybe, Luna, could be her friend?

She spent her nights and weekends literally studying  whilst students would be doing other activities, playing some game called Quidditch and going to Hogsmeade, which she found out was not a nightclub at all but rather a fucking village.

Sure, normal high school sucked, but at least they had parties. Aisha didn't even know what these Wizard folk did, probably sang spells and waved their wands about like they were in a Disney movie.

Then, the time arrived. She was going for her first Tutoring session.

She entered the library sheepishly, there were few students scattered around, but not too many. Thankfully, none of them looked at her, as they were too busy focusing on their work.

Is there a spell for social anxiety?

Suddenly she heard the voice of a girl shout her name. Aisha looked down the corridor of shelves to see a brown-haired girl with thick, curly hair wave at her and smile from a table.

Aisha paced down to the table, only to realise that there was someone sitting next to her. The person had their feet on the table, and an expression of general indifference on their face.

It was Draco.

Aisha and Draco made eye contact at the same time and they both groaned in annoyance.

Draco moaned, saying "Please" and "God no" and Aisha muttered "Kill me now" under her breath.

"Do you guys know each other?" The brown hair girl questioned, looking at the two of them suspiciously.

Oh shit, Aisha thought, we're not supposed to know each other.

Aisha and Draco both answered her question at the same time.

"No."

"Oh, okay. Well, I'm Hermione, and it's lovely to finally meet you." Hermione greeted politely, taking out her hand, which Aisha shook reluctantly.

The session went pretty well, Hermione pretty much helped Aisha with everything. Aisha started to really like her as well. It seemed like everyone at Hogwarts was turning out to be likeable, except for that one guy.

That same guy spent the whole tutoring session looking out the window and frowning at everyone who walked past the table. What a ray of sunshine.

That was until Hermione had to leave early.

Hermione's departure invoked a new level of dread for Aisha, she didn't want to be alone with Draco.
