10:07am

I arrived at the apartment right on time. Well, I was early but first impressions counted, right? At a first glance, the place was decent... nothing too crazy but it almost looked the same as the photos online. There was another black SUV parked in front of me. I suspected there would be a few people interested in the apartment. At 10:30am I was to meet a lady, Nicole, who I had been talking to about the place. At 10:20 I got out of my car and proceeded to walk up to the front entrance. A beautiful lady, who was dressed very professionally stood tall waiting for me with a huge smile. She looked familiar, but I wasn't sure where from. I pushed the thought aside as I walked up to her. We introduced ourselves before heading up the stairs to look at the apartment. As we were walking up the stairs, Nicole said that the elevator was currently not working but would be fixed soon. "This was not off to a good start", I said in my head. We continued to the apartment.

11:00am

It was now 11am and we had finished going through the apartment. I really wanted to love it but I just felt no love towards the apartment. It was decent for the price, but it looked old and looked like it was ready to fall apart on me. It was probably slightly better than the one I had already seen... with Harry, my subconscious added. Overall, I was so disappointed, I wanted something exciting to look forward to. After telling Nicole, that this wasn't quite what I was looking for, she looked saddened. We stood there for a few moments before Nicole asked me for my price range. I told her my circumstances and that I couldn't spend much more than I was already offering. She was looking through her ipad, before looking up at me with a small smile. "Hannah, I have a place that isn't too far from here. It is slightly more expensive but I really think it'll fit your style. How about we have a little look, and then I can keep you posted with what else comes up?", Nicole nervously said to me. I had finished this tour sooner than I had expected so I thought to myself another hour wouldn't hurt. She showed me some photos, and wow I was already in love. I didn't ask for the price, because honestly, I wasn't ready to hear it. After looking at the photos, I think it was actually the one I had seen the other day but hadn't looked at it properly because of the price. Nicole and I hopped back in our cars and she told me to follow her there. She drove off in the beautiful white Mercedes that was parked across the road from me when I first got there.

We arrived at the apartment within 10 minutes. It was slightly further away from where I was living now. Once we parked, I hopped out of my car and glanced at the beautiful apartments in front of me. They were insanely beautiful, I couldn't wait to see them from the inside. The exterior looked modern, with balconies extending from the tall, open windows. I smiled at Nicole as I walked over to her. "These are beautiful", I said in awe to her. "I know, aren't they incredible" she responded excitedly back. We walked past a few cars that were parked out the front... all high brands, Audi, Mercedes and even a black SUV. I laughed, these home-owner buyers probably thought I was following them from the last open home. We walked up the steps, which were also beautiful, through the front doors and towards the elevator. An elevator, I thought to myself and laughed, remembering the last place didn't have a working one.

Nicole walked me through the apartment. This was truly my dream apartment that I knew I couldn't afford. After our walk, I asked her for the answer I had been dreading this entire time. The price. She told me, I was shocked. It was what I had expected, over double the price of the other placed. Nicole looked at me hopefully. I told her I wouldn't be able to afford 2 weeks of rent, and she laughed. I really loved the place and I knew Nicole was sad for me. It was exactly where I wanted to live. We chatted for a while about any other options in the area, to which there were none at the time. Nicole excuse herself as her phone rang and walked away.

I wandered around the place some more. Looking at the fine details, thinking to myself where I would put furniture. I tried to think positive, I thought to myself that if I saved some more, I would be able to afford a place like this. I walked over to the window, which extended to the balcony. It was unlocked. Nicole was still on the phone so I thought why not. A cool breeze brushed against my cheeks. It was chilly today. I imagined myself having coffee's out here on a little chair. The view was even better than I expected. The apartment was situated with a few building close by and I could also see the city from here. It was beautiful. There was a park with a creek across the road from these apartments as well. I was getting disappointed again so I decided to walk back inside.

As I got inside, Nicole ran over to me, literally ran. Surely something was wrong. But then, a massive smile planted across her face. I was confused. "What's wrong", I asked her worryingly. "I have some news for you Han", she excitedly said. I had butterflies in the pits of my stomach. The best news would be if the price halved, but there's no way that could happen. I was inpatient, "Really, what's the news", I said back, getting excited. "Han, an anonymous buyer has just bought you the entire apartment. THE PLACE IS YOURS!" she basically screamed. I was overwhelmed, "what d-o y-o-u mean –m-ine?", I stumbled on my words. "I just got confirmation to take the property off the market. I met up with this client a few nights ago, however he was out of town and still deciding on where he wanted to buy. He told me not to tell you his name, but that he would be here to celebrate with you soon. He has placed the deposit and will be paying the full amount soon. The place will be in your name, SO WHAT DO YOU THINK?" She finished off, telling me about this client and that the place was now mine. I thought to myself, the only man I know who would be able to afford a place like this is Harry. But why would Harry do this? Nicole said, I would find out who the client was shortly. "What if It wasn't Harry though? What if it was some creep?" I must've said what I was thinking aloud because Nicole laughed at me. "He most definitely is someone you know darling", she said to me as she laughed.

I was so excited. "So, when can I move in?" I asked Nicole. She told me that I had to fill a few documents out but could move out in a week's time since the place hadn't had anyone in it for a while. A week I thought to myself. I hadn't been this happy in so long. I had to talk to Harry though. I needed to talk to him about this whole thing. This was one crazy but exciting day.
