Under the lights

The Lake

After telling Ellie and Binah what had happened between Jamie and Heather, they were also curious and wanted to know what was going to happen Ellie said and I quote "Jamie with a girl this I want to see", that statement somehow made me feel a little down, but it doesn't matter it should be nothing now I have to focus on the plan. When you tell them the plan, they both thought it was a good plan, we just made a few small changes and we were ready.

1st Step- We would all meet at Ivy's door and then we would go to the place where Jamie used to train before 6:00 am.

2nd Step- We pretended that we were training, and if someone asks us what we were doing we said that Binah had read a study on the internet that said that if we exercised at the beginning of the day it would affect our day in a positive and that we would feel happier then Binah invited us and we came.

3rd Pass- When Jamie saw that his place would be occupied he would go to another place and then we would follow him to see what would happen and when he went to have breakfast we would already be there in a strategic position to be able to hear what he says about any mess.

And that's what we did, we found the 3 at Ivy's door in sports clothes, Binah was wearing a yellow sweater, I was wearing a pink and Ellie wearing a black, we went to where Jamie usually trains and, when we arrived it was 5:55 am we had arrived just in time. We started to train so that when he appears we are not unprepared and he doesn't notice that something is happening, we were in the shape of a triangle to be able to see all the angles. While we were talking, Binah saw Jamie and warned us.

- "The wolf arrived with the pack, keep doing the exercises until I say he left." - Me and Ellie nodding.

I stopped to drink some water and when I turned to see his face the eyes met and for the first time I knew what he was thinking, he was having a little idea that something was going on but how we were with Binah he didn't seem to find it so suspicious, he must have weighed what would be our excuse, this moment got a little golden but it was enough to start turning red.

- "Lottie, you must be really tired to be so red if you need to, you can drink some of my water."

- "Thank you Binah but it's not necessary, Jamie has already left we should go too."

- "Okay so let's go to this, and can you use the code names?" - asked Ellie

-"Sorry."

We followed Jamie and Heather until they stopped at the beginning of Rosewood, we hid behind some bushes so they wouldn't see us and we tried to be as quiet as possible. We watched them for a while but nothing special happened they were just training together, occasionally she laughed but nothing special, until they stopped training they were talking about something we couldn't hear what they were talking about but I stayed puzzled I knew there was no good thing going to come out of that conversation, we were all concentrated trying to understand.

- "What are the girls doing here?" - we were all scared by that masculine but playful voice. We quickly turned around and saw that it was Raphael, grabbed his arm and pulled him down so they wouldn't see him.

- "We are spying on Jamie and Heather, now don't make any noise and be quiet." - he sent Ellie and he just reached out and pointed at them and said.

- "So I don't think they will want to miss that."

When we looked at each other Jamie and Heather were kissing, how come we hadn't been watching to see that happen. They continued to look, I leaned against a bush and sighed, I was shocked by what had happened and for some reason it was hurting but there was no reason to hurt it was not as if I care what he did, he could do whatever he wanted it was not like I had feelings for him and how I was going to talk to him now. I felt a hand on my shoulder consular to me was Ellie. After that kiss Jamie went away and left Heather alone, we left the library  without saying anything and went to have breakfast, we were all shocked by what we had seen. We didn't talk about anything during breakfast, but you could see that I was hurt by what I had seen. For the rest of the day no one spoke to him and we went on with our lives.

It was 1:00 am and I was unable to sleep so I went for a walk, I tried to make as little noise as possible when leaving the room. I was walking in Rosewood until I saw a part of the forest that I didn't know, I followed that path until I reached a lake, I recognized that lake had appeared in my dream, it was the same cold and crystalline water, the same stones of different colors , i sat on the ground near the water when i looked at the water i saw the reflection of the moon, it was full moon, i stood for a while processing everything that had happened, a tear ran down my face.

"You are coming here too" - when I heard that voice I quickly wiped my face and turned to see who it was, it looked like I had seen a ghost when I saw what it was.

- "I just found out that this existed now" - what I was supposed to do now should invite you to sit next to me or leave - "do you want to sit down?" - Good Lottie you hit the nail on the head.

- "Can it be if you don't mind?"

- "of course not" - Wait, he was really going to sit down now, yes, I ruined everything.

We were silent for a while.

- "So far as you've seen"

- "saw what?" - He wasn't talking about the kiss, no.

- "this morning" - oh no, he's talking about the kiss - "do you think I didn't notice that you, Ellie and Binah were spying on me, that's an insult to my ability to partisan." - he said in a tone as if it were a joke, there was no joke what I was going to say.

- "We don't stay for long, we only stayed for 2 minutes and then we left." - My heart was pounding so much that it looked like I was going to jump. I was so nervous, I didn't want to talk about that topic.

- "Don't lie to me, I know when you are lying" - his voice quickly became serious and his face stiffened.- "Did you see the kiss?" - his voice has now become deeper but still with his body stiffened.

- "Yes" - it was the only thing that came out of my mouth. There was a strange silence until he spoke again.

- "It was she who kissed me, Ms Bolter asked me to help her train for a test, I agreed and then she kissed me, it didn't mean anything.

- "Whether it meant it or not, it's none of my business" - because talking about this subject hurts so much.

- "Come on Lottie"

- "I'm going to walk" - I got up and started walking until he grabbed my wrist- "I don't want to know what you do in your life, it doesn't concern me" - I looked at the floor and felt a tear start leaving, he grabbed my chin forcing me to look into his eyes.

- "Actually, it even tells you a little respect." - He took some of my hair and put it behind my ear and looked me straight in the eye, I didn't move, I didn't need to. He came closer to me, now only a few millimeters separated us and my heart was beating like crazy and it was there that he kissed me, and it was there under the moonlight by the lake that it was my first kiss, it was magical, after we moved away from each other our foreheads came together, I said:

-"What do we do now?"

- "You tell me?" - he said with a smile on his face and kissed me again.
