The day has gone by so fast, that I can't even believe its lunch time already. Me, Azure, Chloe, and Kimanie are on our way to the lunch room. We finally get there and walk to our table to take our seats.
Chloe taps my shoulder and says "hey Jocelyn look, Brian is coming over here"
"OK, ok just act normal" I say with panic in my voice
So me, Azure, Chloe, and Kimanie continue over conversation while Brian is walking over to us.
"Hey jocelyn" he says
"Oh um hi" I say
"So umm can I talk to you now, in private??"
"Sure ok" I say while getting up from the table. I follow Brian into the hallway so we can talk. When we reach there, he says to me "ok, ummm before I tell you this, you have to promise me you won't get mad"
I start to panic and say "ummm ok"
He takes a deep breathe and says "I like your friend Kimanie"
After he said that, I wanted to ground to just open up and suck me down. I just can't believe this. I must of heard he incorrectly so I asked him again.
"What did you say" i felt like I was on the edge of crying
"I like you friend Kimanie, and i was wondering if you can help me get with her. Me and you will just take a break. And ill go out with her for like a month and then ill get back to you. I still love you though" He says
I didn't even know what to say, I was so surprised and heartbroken that I just walked away so he doesn't see me cry.
"Hey jocelyn wait" he yells out behind me but I just keep walking. I can't even look at him right now. I'm so upset right now that I can't even go to my last class. So I just go to my favorite teacher since she has a free period. I stay there until its time to leave and then I just go home
45 minutes later...
I get in front of my house and run up stairs to my room and lock the door. I remove my bag and stuff and throw them on the bed. And I start pacing back and forth in my room, trying to remember everything that just happened, and I still can't believe it. After what feels like 30 minuted of walking back and forth my phone starts to vibrate.
I walk over to grab my phone off the dresser to see that I have 3 text messages from Azure, chloe, and kimanie.
"What happened, is everything ok" -azure, chloe, and kimanie
I reply "no I need you guys to come over now."
"Ok we'll be there in 10 min." -azure, chloe, and kimanie
OK, so now I have 10 min to calm down a little bit. "Ugh this is so frustrating" I say in my head
10 minutes later door bell rings....
