Amelia rose pov
Janie sat on her bedroom floor babbling about some stupid band that she was obsessed with. By tomorrow, she'd be onto a new boy band to obsess over.
"I love Calum, he's like so funny, and Luke, oh my God I love his eyes, and Michael's hair is just ugh, and omg Ashton is like... so adorable!!!" she squeals.
"Uhuh, sureee," Hayley muttered, distracted and not interested.
Finally I spoke up. "So did you drag us here to talk about this band or is there an actual reason for our presence?"
Janie jumped excitedly. "Did you guys not hear ?" she runs downstairs.
"Maybe if we run now we can escape whatever she's getting us into," Hayley says sarcastically and we both chuckle like the inner guys we are.
Janie emerged minutes later. "i got us reservation at the warehouse to go to see... 5 SECONDS OF SUMMER!!! Tonight!!!" she screams in my ear.
"hurray," hailey says nonchalantly.
I try to stifle my laughter.
"But why tortu- I mean choose us?'I questioned.
"Cause' you are my besties? And you love 5sos... right? You guys always agree that Luke's so cute, and Ash-"
"Ok, we get it. But sorry. No can do," hay says.
"Yeah. Cause... we have to...do that thing.. at that place," I look at Hayley.
"Yeah! we have to uh sit on those bab- i mean baby sist." Hayley shrugs.
"Who are you babysitting for?' Janie says suspiciously.
"Um my neighbour Mr. Robertson ya know..."
"but isn't he on holiday? And your neighbour is Mr. Daniels and he has no kids. Are you guys lying to me...?" she frowns.
I can tell she is catching on i fell quite guilty. I may not like her that much but she's still my friend. She just an .... interesting person when it comes to fangirling and she is quite observant, so we can never get away with lying our way out of stuff. Anyways she bought the tickets for us and we cant just lie to her so we might as well go. I mean like what is the worst that can happen other than Hayley killing me for saying yes then its all good.
"Um no! we can cancel, we'll go. I mean you are our bestie," I say quickly.
Hay gives me the look of death but then I quickly return the look.
"Yeah. Why would we want to miss seeing 6 minutes of winter , " Hayley says through gritted teeth.
"That's a joke right?" Janie replys to hayley with a confused look on her face.
"Yeah It is, 5 seconds of spring are an amazing band," Janie glares. "I mean summer! You see, joking again, " I stutter.
"Yaahh okay i will come pick you up at 7pm and wear your merch," she giggles then goes back to babbling about that band but half way through Hayley cuts in.
"Yeah okay. Well looook at the time we have to go. Thanks for the tickets, I'm real excited to see 7 hours of autumn, " Hayley shouted anxiously and and tries to rush to the door.
"Hahaha, I see your jokes. I think i'm catching on. I can't wait either, " Janie said obviously oblivious to Hayley's sarcasm.
"Mhm ..bye, " Hayley says whilst grabbing my arm and dragging me downstairs and out the door before I can even say bye to Janie.
"What was that all about?!" Hayley shouts in my face now we're out in the open.
"Hay, calm down," I say in a soothing voice with a tang of can you shut up in there.
"No, I will not, you just signed me up to see that obnoxious band of boys that are not even that great on Friday night without even letting me say if I wanted to go. Did I mention it was on a Friday night so no... I will not calm down. And they are doing requests and with Janie she'll have a million, " she basically screams in my face.
"Look, Hay. I know, I don't like them either. Frankly I'd rather see Paramore or Demi Lovato or All Time Low tomorrow night but she got us free reservations and that's expensive to see them. She thinks we are her bffs or whatever and it is at one of the best teen cafes in Sydney, I mean there drinks are amazing also there is a few girls in our school who would pay a lot for those douches autographs or better yet even some of there sweat or something else revolting. Lets be honest, We had nothing better to do on Friday night," I say in a I'm right kinda tone.
Hayley doesn't speak for a few minutes then finally looks up at me and stares at me for a while. it's a little creepy but you kind of get used to it after a while.. I gusse I mean she practically dose it everyday.
"You better split the profit 50/50 and pay for my food," she says and walks off.
A grin slowly appears on my mouth. It works every time, involve food and some type of way to get money she's hooked.
"Text me okaay" I shout at her.
She respond by rasing her hand in the air and pointing her middel finger.
I just laugh in response.

So his is three years before so 5sos is just a little band but still have a lot of fans and they are doing a gig at a warehouse cafe thing and they will do song requests cause they are not that big yet and don't have that many originals
