Yui's Pov

I entered the room to see if Father had returned. I saw father sitting with a serious Face. I didn't utter a word. I knew that I had done a mistake by not attending the daily prayer and it was so unlike of me. I was basically punctual and work minded. I would never miss such a important thing. I nervously looked at father. He looked at me with a weird look.

"Yui do you know What have you done? "

" I do know father. I truly beg pardon to the God for not attending the prayer. But I didn't have another choice"

" You truly are so mature Yui. I know you are guilty for that. But I'm proud to say that you have just saved a child from drowning"

" Do you know that he's not a human? "

" I do! He belongs to the Vampire Royal family. I'm truly bewildered to see that no member of his family has come to take any notice. I am thinking about reporting it to them."

" Please pardon my behavior but I must request you not to inform it to his mother. It would increase the pain his miserable life "

" Then What are we supposed to do? Keep him in here? "

" I know that's not possible but we can have him kept to some close alley of this church. That would be the best idea. We will let him stay in our house for a week if someone comes to take any notice if him we will return him. And if no one comes then we will completely let him decide whether he will go or not. "

" I believe in your words. We will do what you say."

I didn't say anything else. I was quite stunned at his words. Why would he respect me to this level? Weren't parents that type of creature who'd like to beat their children out of no reason? But Why was he an exception ? Just because I was an adoptive daughter. I wouldn't say anything. I headed back Ayato's room I mean mine. I wanted check if he had woken up. After entering his room I saw Ayato sleeping peacefully. I had bought some herbs along with me. I thought it would heal his scars on hand. I couldn't heal mine so I decided that I would give him no more pain. I could see myself in him. I places the mixture at the table and rubbed it in his hands. He made some noices like a cat. I continued rubbing his hand.
