I woke up from sleep having felt a hand touching my skin. I opened my eyes, I saw Yui sitting beside of me. She was rubbing my hand, it was so relaxing. I tried to get up but she didn't let me

I couldn't help but to giggle at her words. What did she think of that I had been a human? She really was stupid. But to see her near me.. I became confused.. How did I come in here? Did the old hag take no notice of me? And that little basterd? She could have have left by then.

" Why is Oresama in here? "

" Well, you were drowing so I carried you I'm here. "

" Why would you save me? Don't you hate me? "

Those words came out of nowhere. I had never apologized to anyone rather than the old hag. I seriously didn't want to go back. I could understand that I had been abandoned. Because that woman always told me that if she were to abandon me then I would be drown to death on the lake. I had nowhere to go. I knew she wouldn't accept me anymore.

" Father said if you want we can let you stay in here"

" Well, it seems that I have nowhere to go now. The old hag will probably not accept me. "

I saw her smiling. I felt something odd. I gave her a hug for being my first friend. We heard her father calling us for dinner.
