Three as One

he took a deep breath and started making his way into the building, but as he was walking in, someone bumped into him, making him trip and fall. he squeezed his eyes shut, preparing for the pain he would feel.

but, he never felt the ground hit him. he opened his eyes to see he was floating, and there was a girl touching his shoulder. this made him panic, and the floating stopped. he fell, but a lot easier than he would have before.

"im so sorry! i should have said something before i used my quirk on you. i hope it didn't make you uncomfortable or anything!" said the girl

she had short brown hair, and her cheeks were rather round. she was short, but not too much. she smiled at him, and spoke again,

"hi! im ochako uraraka! and you are?"
"i-im izuku midoriya.." izuku said, pulling himself up off of the ground
"cute name, it suits you!"

deku blushed slightly at that

"th-thank you!" he said, mentally cursing himself for his stutter. he always had a problem with stuttering when he became anxious

"you're welcome! i think we should be going though, the exams begin soon! see you later, midoriya!" she said and waved to him while walking off
"right.. goodbye" he said, looking at the school

this was the moment he had been waiting for all his life.

'i hope i don't screw this up,' he thought to himself as he walked to the school

all of the students participating in the exam were now in a very large auditorium, and there were many.. at least 150 students, or more. how were they going to pick 20 students out of 150? all deku knew was that he had to try his best. he had to do all he could.

as President Mic, a hero who worked at the school, explained the details of the exam, izuku was pondering what he could do to help himself in the exam.

he hadn't tried the quirk yet, so he wasnt sure what would happen. he was just supposed to be really strong now.. could he do the same things all might does? maybe he could go off that. he could Smash as many robots as possible to get more points. would helping others get him points? maybe, since teamwork is part of being a hero as well.

izuku came up with a small plan. Smash as many metal monsters as possible, dont get hurt. stay calm, no panicking. he HAS to do this, he can't let all might down.

after the speech, everyone was sent to locker rooms to change into appropriate clothing for the exam. deku went to an area farther away from everyone else so he could change comfortably. everyone in the room were of higher rank than him, and alphas are almost always comfortably confident about their bodys, but omegas were more shy. betas were about the same in terms of confidence as alphas.

'i wish these stupid ranks weren't a thing..' izuku thought to himself as he took his jacket off. he kept the tighter fitting tank top on, and then into a pair of shorts. he laced up his shoes and started stretching in the corner where he changed. he wanted to make sure he was somewhat prepared before hand, because he wasn't sure how much time they would get to prepare before the exam began.

as he was stretching, he noticed more than a few glances sent his way.

he wasn't releasing any any type of panic pheromones was he? he thought he had that tight under lock today. he specifically remembered taking his medicine before eating breakfast.

he shook it off and went out to the exam arena doors, where he waited in a slightly shaded spot. he didn't want to get sunburned.

after about 5 more minutes, the entirety of students was out as well and President Mic could be heard on a speaker.

"try to get as many points as possible students! this will determine if you make it into the school or not!" he said, and the large doors opened. midoriya made his way through them, making sure he was out of any students way, and ran into an alley way.

he looked behind him to see, no one else was coming? what were they doing?

"well, what are you waiting for? a real hero situation wont give you an alarm to start!" president mic yelled through the speaker.

and as soon as that was said, there were hundreds of foot steps heard. everyone was running in and dispersing. midoriya took a deep breath and ran out from the alley, going as fast as he could towards any monsters.

'now, all might didn't tell me anything about what to do with his power, he just said "you have to say 'SMASH' from within your heart" but will my punches be effective like his? am i ready for punching yet? what happens if i cant do anything?' midoriya thought to himself as he ran.

as he was distracted in his thoughts, a robot came out of no where and barreled itself at him

"look out!" a voice yelled, and a red haired boy who looked like stone punched the robot away from izuku.

midoriya stood in place, frightened. a robot came from him, and he didn't even notice?

the boy looked at midoriya funny, then ran off. izuku took another deep breath and looked around him. there were no robots, but tons of damage to already destroyed robots and buildings. he was falling behind..

he groaned and ran in a different direction. he needed points.. and fast.

the exam was almost over
