Three as One

izuku came to a larger opening, and there were tons of students fighting robots. every time he would run at a robot to destroy it, someone stole it from him. he was getting desperate. he was going to lose, and he couldn't lose!!

just as he went for another robot, a rumbling was heard. and out of no where, a humongous robot appeared. it was smashing buildings left and right, there was so much smoke and rubble flying everywhere, and midoriya could hear screams coming from others around him. but he was stuck in place, watching the big robot. others were running away, but it felt like he was paralyzed. he couldn't do anything.

and suddenly, a switch flipped. he turned to run, but saw something moving.

it was a girl, stuck under rubble. she couldn't get out, and the huge robot was rolling right towards her.

before he even had time to think, he ran towards the robot and jumped, and was suddenly floating in the air, flying. he was going towards the zero pointer robot, and he knew in that moment he had to punch the robot, or else he would probably die

'i have to destroy this thing, but what if i get hurt? i dont know what all i can do, my quirk.. i'll just have to do what all might said.. SMASH!'

and like that, there was explosion after explosion, and the robot collapsed. and then, izuku was falling. with how high he was.. he would die automatically from impact to the ground.

"NO," he yelled, "I CANT DIE"

and as the ground got closer, he slowed, until his feet softly touched down. he looked down at his hands, one was broken, but he wasn't in too much pain.

he then looked up, to see a large majority of the students looking at him. he gasped quietly to himself and looked to the girl who was under the rubble. she was still there, but it looked as though she had passed out.

izuku ran over to her, and tried his hardest to move the rubble off of her.

"and the exam is OVER! please report back to the front gates so we can have any injuries taken care of," president mic said from the speakers once again.

the exam was.. over? but he hadn't gotten any points..

he failed..

after the exam was over, the girl, uraraka, was healed by the nurse at the school, and everyone was sent home. deku didn't come out of his room for 3 days, he was devastated. he wouldn't get into UA. he failed.

as he was scrolling through his phone, watching videos every now and then, there was a frantic knock on his bedroom door.

"i-izuku, there's a l-letter here for you. it's from UA.." he heard his mother say, and he jumped off his bed and flung the door open
"WHAT?! i thought i failed the exam. why did they send me a letter?" he questioned, looking at the red seal on the envelope
"im not sure.. go open it honey, let me know what it says when you're done" inko said and pushed him in his room softly

he nodded and closed the door behind him, sitting at his desk

he stared at the letter for a moment, before opening it. a hologram screen popped out, and all might was shown.

"young midoriya! i am here as a projection!" all might yelled
"a-all might?! i thought this letter was from UA?"
"i came to this town to work for UA as a teacher!"
"you're going to be working at UA?"
"yes, but.. even though you passed the written exam, you still got zero points on the practical. and of course that means, you didn't pass" all might said
"i know that, but.." izuku trailed off
"if that were all that was to it," all might continued

izuku looked up at him, what did he mean?

all might then showed a video of.. the girl! that izuku had saved. she said, she wanted to give some of her points to izuku..? but why..?

"he saved me!" the girl said

all might spoke, "your actions caused others to act as well. that is what we look for in a hero. someone who is willing to put everything on the line to do their job, to fight for what's right, to be a true hero! that is why, young midoriya.."

tears filled izukus eyes, he couldn't have..

"you have been accepted into the UA High Hero Course! congratulations!!"

the tears spilled over.

he did it. he was accepted.

he was going to be a hero
