Part 6- Decisions Part 1

I was shook as I my name was trending on Twitter and posted on the shaderoom once again. But this time was for a different reason.

"Girl? When did you finish that song? I thought you wasn't going to sing anymore." Naya asked.

"I- I was in th studio with the twins and I told Lau I could sing. So I pulled up that old cover that I put together a year ago... That crazy man! He must've posted the song all over!" I said putting the pieces together.

"Girl you should see all of these people coming to me about a record deal. This is so overwhelming." I said rubbing my head.

"Can you come over later? I need to share this excitement with someone." I chuckled.

"Yeah girl I'll be over later. Maybe around 6?"

"Yeah that works out fine. Alright love you boo. Later."

I hung up he phone and immediately FaceTimed Lau's crazy self. He picked up on the second ring.

"Hey beautiful." He said with a silly smirk on his face.

"Laurent? Why did you post that cover I did?"

"Because I see how passionate you are with singing. It remind me of how we feel when me and mon frere dance. I see something in you so why not share with the world. They see something in you too. And I non say this to just anybody."

By the he was talking I knew he was being dead ass serious. It was written all over his face. I looked at him with an unsure look.

"You really think I can do it?" I asked.

"I for know you can do it bébé. Just believe in youself and take it seriously. I will be right there by you side." He assured giving me a promising look.

"Ok.." I said lowly.

"Oki? You for do it!?" He asked shocked.

"Yeah, I see a free opportunity and I should go for it. After all, it has been a dream of mine and I don't want to be stuck doing hair all my life." I said with a chuckle.

"Oh great because Beyonce wants to meet you." He said with a big smile.

"BEYONCÉ? Like YONCE? AS IN THE QUEEN?" I felt myself get light headed.

"Yes I tell her about you cover and she love you voice so she want to meet you in person." I damn near jumped out the skin a was in.

"BEYONCÉ WANTS TO MEET ME?! LAU THANK YOU BABY!" I squealed giving him a big smile.

He returned one back.
"So when do we meet?" I asked trying to contain my excitement.

"Well she in Paris right now but she be in New York in 3 weeks. So I believe on the 8th in October."

I stared at Lau for awhile just thinking how did I get so lucky to find a man like him.

"Lau? I don't even know what to say.. thank you so much. You have no idea what this means to me." I told him tearing up.

"No cry bébé. This is only the beginning for you and me." He said winking his eye at me.

"So tonight we celebrate! Be ready at 10:00. Bring Naya too. For me and Larry meet you there." He said.

"Ok babe! I'll see you tonight!"

He hung up the and I squealed so loud that I'm pretty sure China could hear me.

"I get to meet Beyoncé! I get meet Beyoncé!" I sang doing a little dance to go with it.

I have been on cloud nine all day. All the love I've been getting from a lot of people has been overwhelming and it really makes me feel good to know that people recognize and appreciates my talent. I even had some family and long lost friends that gave me some love.
