Lykosan, Ancient City of Imagiwild

Before Wolf City was established, Lykosan was an old style village with an old Korean village look. It was established by a Labrador of the streets of Daegu, South Korea. The Labrador, named Seoltang, started a new race of blonde furred wolves with black neck fur after he had crossed into the land of Imagiwild.

After centuries of peaceful rule, the emperor of Lykosan, Gwantaeg, granted a band of wolves entrance to the land. These wolves mated with the native wolves. This reduced the amount of pure wolves descended from the Labrador of Daegu. After Gwantaeg's mysterious death, his son, Pal-Wol became emperor.

Pal-Wol had a younger brother named Seoltang-Ip, who was one of the last wolves with the gold fur and black collar. Seoltang-Ip had no interest in ruling. However, after his brother was killed, and the invading wolves took over, he was asked to pose as emperor to keep the village under control. This went to Seoltang-Ip's head. He established control over the invaders and beheaded anyone who defied him. One day, a young wolf with dark gray fur was captured. During his execution, it is revealed that the wolf had been conspiring to kill Seoltang-Ip. The executioner freed the wolf from his ropes and gave him a gun.

Although the wolf had failed to kill Seoltang-Ip, he was left severely injured. Seoltang-Ip promised to leave the wolf alone if he could stay as the Emperor. The wolf agreed on one condition: that he would rule from behind the scenes.

The wolf became known as Geulimja, the Korean word for shadow. Geulimja always stood behind Seoltang-Ip inconspicuously, and was even there when Orion, the son of the lead invader, escorted young Melody into the palace so she can ask the Emperor for his hand in marriage.

Seoltang-Ip lost his mind after that, killing Geulimja in his rage. After realizing what he had done, Seoltang-Ip left the palace and wasn't heard from again until it is revealed that he had changed his name to Sugarleaf and had become mates with Shadowstar's daughter, Lunarfeather.
