Arnab smiled as his daughter fed him dinner. She was absent minded and he was sure that she is thinking about RK.

"Manu.."

"Yes Papa.. do you need something else..?"

"No dear. I am done with dinner."

She nodded and kept the plate over table before checking the medicines.
"Manu.. I wanted to tell you something."

"Tell Papa. Why this introduction.."

He held her wrist and made her sit beside him.
"You know what, I thought getting you married to RK will be my biggest mistake. But I was wrong.
I know you don't like him at all. But Manu.. he is not that bad. Please try to give a chance to this relationship."

She looked at her father for the first time.

"You know, when I was hospitalized, the way he took care of us ; I am sure if you were there would have did the same . Manu don't misunderstand him, he is good, maybe a bit rude but not cruel. He will always keep you happy. "

She smiled faintly. "Papa.. I know, what ever you do will be for our happiness. "

Everyone around me says he is good. Am I the only one who couldn't realise the good side of him... Or Am I the only one who is seeing the exact RK.

"World say , the path from son-in-law to son is long ;
the path from son-in-law to son is long and the one cross it soon is special. "

Manasa and Arnab turned towards the door finding RK with his usual dashing smile.
"And I proved, no path is difficult for RK by winning my Father-in-law's heart on the very wedding night.
Am I right Papa . "

"Ofcourse you are right. Come sit."

Manasa stood up without even looking at his face.  RK sat on a chair near the bed. "How are you feeling now uncle..?"

The newly born Father-son duo shared some chit chat session. Madhu and Misha also joined them later. Manasa stood silently watching him.

Why are you so difficult to understand..

Seeing Manasa so silent during the drive made RK a bit confused.

RK: "Why are you so silent Wife.. You are not so silent even in your sleep."

Ma: "Excuse me, I don't talk during sleep. "

He smiled.
"Hmm.. Ok. Then ,may I know the reason behind your silence.
One second, are you getting emotional for taking your dad hospital. Don't be Mrs. "

She turned to him.

Rk: "If you are trying to analyse the good qualities in me, stop it right there. Because my revenge on you has nothing to do with your family.  I know the pain of losing father's love and care.Whatever I did was just out of humanity."

M: "Oh, so you have that human quality. I thought you-"

RK: "You thought I am heartless animal. Right Mrs.".

M: "Right. "

She turned back to the window.

RK : "I will be always a heartless animal... But exclusively for you my wife. As I said, I won't ever show the bitter side of me to neither of our families. My anger, my revenge, my hatred is only for you. Only for you."
