Chapter Eight
"So, you don't eat meat at all?" I gasped, through a mouthful of my corndog.
Tim shook his head and finished tying his shoe. "Nope and if you knew what was good for you, you wouldn't finish that corndog either. They're filled with pig snout."
"Well pig snout tastes really good," I shrugged, taking another bite.
Tim looked up at me and smiled. "Come on. Let's go feed the ducks."
Me and Tim had just reached the park's duck pond, when my phone started vibrating.
I reached into my pocket and pulled it out.
Just as I thought, it was Peter.
"Uh, I have to take this," I told Tim, handing him the bread bag.
"Take your time," he replied, tossing a chunk of bread into the pond.
After creating some distance between me and the crowd, I answered the call.
"What do you want Peter?" I mumbled, irritation lacing my voice.
Peter sighed. "I need you to pick me up. I'm in jail."
Officer Wilkans released my brother and six other half dressed "models" from the county jail after checking out their stories.
It turns out that Peter's agent Will and Conner the photographer, had been using Will's aunt's abandoned house to take pictures of aspiring models.
Only the house wasn't abandoned at all.
Will's aunt had just been visiting friends in Venice, unbeknownst to him.
So, you could imagine her horror, when she returned home and saw seven nearly naked dudes, posing for pictures.
She accused Will and Conner of running an escort service.
But it turned out that Will's aunt wasn't really wrong.
Me and Peter learned a little later, that Will and Conner's laptops were loaded with X-rated websites, that they sold pictures to.
Which is totally illegal.
Peter's pretty mortified about the whole thing and refuses to talk about it.
But one good thing came out of all of this.
The cops found Peter's wallet and bank card, a few days ago.
So, at least he can be ashamed in his own room now.
