Bakugou's POV
~The next morning~
BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE- SLAM
"Ughhhhh." That alarm clock is the bane of my existence. Why can't I just sleep and not go to school!? Ugh, okay...what's good about school...I get closer to my goals, Deku will be there, they got good ass food, maybe the extras will annoy me less- WAIT DEKU WILL BE THERE! I quickly sit up in bed, pumped with my new found motivation, and get ready to see Deku. After making sure I look good enough for him and myself I head downstairs to get some breakfast. "KATSUKI HURRY UP, YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE!" "SHUT UP OLD HAG I'M COMING!" I make it into the kitchen, grab some toast, and say goodbye to my parents, in my own way of course. I hop on my motorcycle and finally head off to school. I pull into the student parking lot, make sure I have all my shit, and check the time. 8:15...I have 20 minutes. As I walk the halls of U.A. I can't help but look around for that familiar tuft of green hair. Where is he? Is he even here yet? Is he already in class? I suddenly get my answer when a certain greenete bumps into my chest. "Oh my Nezu, I'm so sorry I wasn't looking where I was going and..." he finally looks up and realizes I was the one he bumped into. I raise a brow at him and smirk, "And what?" There was a minute of just us silently staring at each other before he answered, "And I...I...I was listening to music..." I noticed the single earphone in his ear, the other hanging by his side. "What kind of music?" "Oh umm Dayglow and uh Declan McKenna." "I don't think I've ever heard of those people, I mainly listen to Panic! At The Disco and Green Day." "Oh, I listen to them from time to time, What's your favorite P!ATD song?" "I Write Sins Not Tragedies, you?" "High Hopes! What about Green Day?" "American Idiot." "Ooh, I like that one but Wake Me Up When September Ends is my favorite!" I don't know how long we were talking for but apparently a long time because after he said that the bell rang. "Shit! We gotta go!" Before I could even comment on how I've never heard him curse he already had a hold of my hand and was dragging me through the halls. We finally reached class 1A and opened the door panting from literally running all the way here. "We're pant pant here!" Geez nerd, breathe! "And why were you late?" Oh Nezu, Aizawa Sensei looks PISSED, we're screwed and I doubt this nerd has an excuse- "Sorry sir, I was helping him study and we lost track of time." He's not gonna believe that weak excuse- "sigh That's quite alright Midoriya, just don't let it happen again." "Yes sensei!" Well damn, color me shocked. I sat down in my seat and the nerd sat behind me. Huh, how did I never notice him? "Okay students, now that everyone is here we can get into your project. This project is for all of your classes and is worth 80% of your grade in each of them. So you need to take this seriously. You will be assigned three places in Musutafu with a partner, paint the scenery of one place, take a picture of something interesting in the second, and write a story surrounding the third place. You have 2 weeks to complete it starting tomorrow, I will be assigning partners and I will not hear any complaints unless you want detention." "Yes sensei!" Interesting project, I hope I get a good partner.
~Time skip to when Bakugou gets his partner (I think we all know what's gonna happen)~
"...Bakugou and Midoriya, ~~~~" I tuned him out after he said my partner. I'm partners with Deku...I'm partners with Deku! I'M PARTNERS WITH DEKU!! Yes! This is great! Not only do I get to spend time with him, I get to see his writing and art first hand! I turn to look at the nerd and he looks just as excited as I am. He looks towards me and smiles, I feel a small blush creep onto my cheeks as I smile back. I turn back around as our weird hobo caterpillar teacher gets into his sleeping bag and gives us the rest of the period to plan. This is gonna be great!
