Chapter 9

It was morning. Cass wakes up and got out of her room, feeling the guilt for betraying her friend. She made it to dr. Blowhole lab as he waits for her.

Dr. Blowhole: 75! Do you remember the plan last night?

Cass nods.

Dr. Blowhole: 75!

Cass: [ flinch ] yes. Sir. I remember last night.

Dr. Blowhole: good. And don't mess it up.

Cass: i won't sir.

( at brads base )

She made it to brads place as she comes closer to see Brad grabbing out something for today. She stops and thought about the plan.

Cass: * you can do this. Just follow the plan. *

Cass began walking again with a force smile.

Cass: heeeeyyyy, friend. you ready!

Brad: yeah. Just got the things for our trip.

Cass:...yeah...our trip....

Brad: [ concern] are you okay-

Cass: yeah, let's just go!

She began walking away, leaving brad with suspicion. But shrugged it off and follows her. It took them 5 minutes to get to the building ( dr. Blowhole lair ), causing brad to be amazed.

Brad: wow, this building is awesome!

Cass opens the door by sliding it. They went inside, through the dark corridors.

Brad: are you okay?

Cass: yeah, just keep walking.

They kept on walking, looking around while Cass was trying to keep a straight face.

Brad: do you think this place has what I'm looking for?

Cass: I...I don't know. Just keep walking.

Brad was now starting to get concern about Cass.

Brad: * what is going on with her this morning? Why is she acting like this? * Cass...what's going on?

Cass: [ lie ] nothing.

Brad: Cass, don't lie. I know something is up.

Cass didn't reply, causing brad to worry. They almost there to the hallway.

Brad: I'm worried. [ Cass stop ] about you. I know something is going on today and I have a feeling that it's not good. You know you can talk to me. Whatever it is, I'm not going to be mad. Just...talk to me...

Cass notice the lobsters are ready from the top floor, causing Cass to panic in her mind.

Cass: * I can't do this anymore! I don't want this, I'm done! *

Brad: [ worry ] Cass?

Cass snaps out.

Cass: get down!

Brad: what, what's going on?

Cass: I....there's something I need to tell you. I..I don't know how you would react.

Brad: what? What is it?

Cass: I-

Suddenly a huge hammer swings in towards them, causing brad to push Cass and himself through the hallway and landed on the metal floor.

Dr. Blowhole: [ smirk ] well, well, if it isn't the north wind himself?

brad and Cass stood up, notice dr. Blowhole has entered the room.
