also one more thing i may mess around with the POV a bit idk why but the way i've been writing it feels a bit weird to me. might just have to get used to it haha idk my point is just don't get confused okay okay here's the chapterrrrrr enjoy!

3rd person POV (no one is like speaking if that makes sense)
Calum's Call
Calum sets down the phone with a grin widening on his face by the second. His hand goes to cover his mouth as he contemplates all that just happened. Celesta gives him a funny look.
"Well?" She asks him, her eyebrows raised.
"Uh, what do you mean?" Calum asks, still lost in his excitement.
"You were squealing like a little girl on the phone for like half an hour and you have a massive grin on your face." Celesta tells him with a smirk. "Something big clearly just happened."
"Was not!" Calum whines. She tilts her head an cocks one eyebrow. "Whatever. So you remember Austin & Ally right?"
"Hm, do I remember the biggest job of your life...I'm not sure, can you be more specific?" Celesta responds sarcastically. Calum rolls his eyes.
"Yeah yeah, it was a stupid question. Anyway." The grin returns to Calums face, just as wide as before. "That was the creators, Kevin and Heath on the phone." Each word he says results in his smile growing bigger. "They want to do an Austin & Ally reboot!" Calum nearly explodes by the end of his explanation. Celesta lets out a tiny squeal and claps her hands.
"Babe that's amazing! I'm so happy for you!" She bounces a bit on the balls of her feet and squeals again.
"Look who's 'squealing like a little girl' now?" Calum says with a smirk before continuing. "It gets better too. At first I was a bit concerned about the main characters of a Disney show being in their late 20's and early 30's in my case." Celesta nods her head. "But Kevin and Heath said that it's not going to be on Disney. It's going to be picked up by HBO." A goofy grin appears on Calum's face yet again. "It's just like the four of us had always talked about, how a platform other than Disney would give us so much more creative freedom. And we're going to be adults in the show so it works perfectly." Celesta hops over to her husband and gives him a giant hug.
"I'm so so happy for you Calum! I can't wait to see you acting again." She says into his chest, as he squeezes her right back, kissing the top of her head.
"I know, it sure has been a while hasn't it?" Calum says with a soft chuckle. Ever since Austin and Ally, Calum decided to put a pause on his acting career and move more into the directing aspect of entertainment. It's been about 7 years since he had a legitimate role, as he's done small guest appearances and extra roles. "I'm a bit worried though, you know, Ross and Laura haven't spoken in 4 years. It's sad really." He lets out a sigh. "I really hope everyone agrees to this. Kevin and Heath said they want to use the original cast for characters that will be carried over, so if they don't agree then the show won't happen. We agreed that it has to be us 4 originals."
"They really still haven't spoken?" Calum shakes his head. "Wow. I guess we just have to hope for the best babe. But Ross and Laura are good people. Once they hear about the opportunity, they can't just pass it up. This is what all of you had always wanted. They can set aside whatever problems they have for the sake of this reboot. They'll have to."
