Emilia laid sound asleep on the bed before being woken up by her sister, Enola.

"Enola?" She whispered before looking out the window.

"Enola, It's still dark outside." Emilia begged, squinting her eyes through the dark.

"It's almost dawn and I think mother left us a clue."

"A what!?" Emilia whispered, screamed, getting out of bed.

"My present." She whispered. Emilia anxiously grabbed the gift pulling it onto Enola's bed. Enola searched through it while Emilia looked around the box. Enola grabbed the small stash of pencils and through it at her legs in frustration. Emilia flinched before putting a hand on Enola's shoulder.

Small writing caught Emilia's eye and she squinted, pulling up the piece of paper with writing.

"Alone. That's my name." Enola whispered, Emilia nodded. Emilia pulled out the scramble game and Enola pulled out all the letters.

They both whispered, trying to put the letters together. The outcome had been nothing understandable before Enola realized.

"Backwards. it has to be backwards." She whispered yell switching it. Emilia and Enola turned it around and came out with "Chrysanthemums my in look Enola and Emilia" They both whispered in sync.

"Enola and Emilia, Look in my chrysanthemums." Enola whispered, jumping to her feet.

"We hear you, Mother." Enola whispered to the distance. Both the girls slowly walked through the house, trying their best not to make sounds. Enola picked up the chrysanthemums while Emilia held the light. Once realizing that there was nothing in the chrysanthemums, they had thought they were back to square one.

"The painting." Emilia whispered, walking over towards it.

"Not the ones she bought. The ones she painted." Enola said.

Enola grabbed the frame, opening the inside. Inside was an envelope that read both of their names. Enola opened it, pulling out a stash of money.

"Money?" Emilia questioned, eyebrows furrowing.

"She must've left a message." Enola told her sister, whispering. Emilia grabbed the envelope, pulling out the small paper inside. It held a blue thin flower and the words written underneath were "Our future is up to us." Emilia whispered to her sister.
