1. Wake Up

Virgil's POV
I don't really know how it happened. The day started out normal. Logan and Janus were reading in the library, Patton was sketching in his room and Roman and Remus were dueling in the imagination for the 60 millionth time.
The next thing I know we're all in the imagination because Roman and Remus need to settle an argument. This isn't unusual except for the fact that they summoned Pat too.
Patton hates unnecessary violence but here we are, staring at the twin's while they're covered in each other's blood.
"What happened this time?" Logan asked.
"MY IDIOT OF A BROTHER-" The twin's yelled at the same time.
"Roman what happened?" Janus interrupted.
"Me and Remus both agreed that the final duel we wouldn't summon anything just my sword VS his Morning Star. HE decided he should cheat and summon some squid tentacles. Remus cheated and he won't admit it," Roman huffed.
It's a known fact all of the darksides have animal features. Janus is half snake, I'm half cat (don't tell Patton) and Remus is half octopus.
"Roman. 1 they're not squid tentacles their octopus tentacles and 2. Remus didn't summon them. As you know the darksides are have animal like features, Remus' tentacles are one of them. Remus didn't summon anything. No one cheated," Logan sighed.
"I DIDN'T KNOW HE HAD TENTACLES!!!!" Roman exclaimed.
"HOW DID YOU NOT KNOW? I'M YOUR BROTHER, BITCH!" Remus shouted.
"WHEN HAVE WE EVER ACTED LIKE IT?!?" Roman screamed.
The bright green field was filled with silence. The twin's aren't the closest siblings in the world. They basically act like mortal enemies but you never say that they aren't brothers unless you're asking for pain.
"When have we ever acted like it?" Remus laughed like a Disney villain. "You don't think I care about you? When I chose to be dark creativity just so you could be happy, that definitely didn't show how much I care. Everytime I defended you in argument, everytime I let you use my powers to let you make your fanciful creations. NOTHING IS ENOUGH FOR YOU! NOTHING!"
The twin's started screaming over each other. Me and the others tried our best to get them to stop but nothing would work. I felt so powerless. Like I couldn't do anything to make them stop.
"Please kiddos calm down," Patton begged the twin's that completely ignored him.
The imagination started getting darker and darker the more they argued. A roar erupted from the distance making the twin's silent.
"W-What was that?" Patton whimpered.
"Damn it!" Creativities screamed in unison.
"This is all your fault Remus!" And just like that the twin's started fighting like before.
In under a minute a tall sludge like monster approached us. The twin's, completely caught up in his rage didn't notice it.
Everyone but the twin's moved closer together for some sort of comfort.
"The Twin's anger may have caused some sort of monster to appear," Logan analysed.
"HOW DO WE GET IT TO STOP!" I yelled, my anxious voice showing my fear.
"Not get them to not calm down." Janus has a habit of lying when he's scared.
"B-But how they won't listen to us," Patton stuttered.
The monster roared louder as it approached the twins. Roman and Remus stopped to look at it. They screamed in unison as the monster opened its large mouth with knife like teeth that you wouldn't notice was there unless it was open. It bit them in half leaving their bodies from the waist down.
"No No No No No NoNo No NoNo No No," Patton chanted as he gripped the sides of his head.
"This is okay this is okay," Janus whispered to himself.
Even Logan's usually calm demeanor was shattered. "W-We need to calm down and think of a solution t-to this," he stuttered as the monster approached us, crushing what was left of Roman and Remus' bodies.
"We're gonna die," Patton cried into my chest.
"No we are," Janus confirmed.
"Virgil wake up," a voice echoed in my head.
What?
"Come on Virgie is just a bad dream. Wake up for me kiddo," Patton's voice echoed. Patton? Why is he telling me to wake up? I'm right next to him.
Everything went black.

When I opened my eyes Patton, Roman and Logan we're staring at me concerned.
"Are you okay stormcloud?" Roman asked.
"Y-Yeah. 'm fine."
"You wanna talk about it?" Patton offered.
"No."
"How about we have a movie night?" Logan proposed. "It would give you an opportunity to distract yourself and we could watch the new Mulan movie Roman has been begging to watch."
"That's a wonderful idea Logie," Patton praised.
"Yeah. Sounds fun," I shrugged.
"YES. I've been dying to watch Mulan," Roman cheered.
We spent the night eating popcorn and watching movies. I didn't have a nightmare again that night.
