Chapter 6

As I entered the dining room Ash gave me an apoligetic look, I walked passed him and said "It's okay" only to where he would hear it.

"So what was that thud the we heard earlier" my dad asked.

"It might of been---"Ash started

"I slipped on the stairs" I interrupted knowing that if they found out that they would lecture him about how it was mean to hurt girls then probably put him on clothes duty.

"Are you okay?" Mom asked worriedly

"Yeah I'm fine I do that all the time right Ash."

As I looked at him it looked like he was confused on why I protected him but at the same time he looked worried

"Right Ash?" I repeat.

"Oh right." he said hesitantly

"Ok well just be more careful next time."

"I will." I replied nonchalantly
