"Sure," He looked around one last time, and when his eyes landed on my elephant, his eyes softened.
I waited for him to say something, but he didn't. Instead, he just motioned for me to follow him, which I did.
I got into the car, and he told me to just sleep since we had some time before we reached the airport. The last thing I heard before falling asleep was
"Yeah... I need you all to come home immediately... NO, it's not about her... just come ok?... it's a surprise".

*Emma's POV*
I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes as the car glided to a stop.
"This was it." I thought to myself.
I was finally leaving my hometown of Texas and moving to Chicago, only to live with 5 brothers that I never knew about?
Damn. Sounds like a Wattpad book.
I shook my head out of my thoughts and walked towards the plane. I looked it over and realized this wasn't a commercial plane. This was a private plane.
Well, I'm sO gLaD that they pulled out all the stops for me.
Alessandro waved his hand in front of my face to shake me out of my thoughts.
I immediately flinched back, expecting him to hit me.
He glared at me for a second, his eyes softening at the fear in my eyes.
"What happened, hermana? Are you okay?"
Not wanting to explain myself yet, I just nodded my head and went to board the plane.
*Alessandro POV*
I was angry.
At myself?
Maybe.
Maybe I was angry at the fact my hermana, my little sister flinched at me. If I was an average person, I would have dismissed this but no. I was the head of the Italian mafia, and I knew when something wasn't right.
She was hiding something from me, and I was determined to find out what.
*Time Skip to Chicago*
*Emma POV*
Wow.
I peered out the window as the pilot announced we would arrive shortly.
Chicago was beautiful from up here.
I could see a bunch of tiny little apartments and what I think was the silver bean thing.
One thing was for sure, Chicago was WAY more crowded than Texas ever was.
I continued to look out the window, with an almost childlike expression of glee on my face.
Shortly after, we touched down and entered the airport.
This place was huge!
I almost got lost a couple of times, but Alessandro helped me out.
I knew that I should trust him, but he reminded me too much of someone I knew, though I couldn't exactly pinpoint who.
Alessandro drove us home while we sat in complete silence.
When we reached, I let out a little gasp of shock. I was no home expert, but this house was beautiful. It was a giant mansion with vines and bushes growing up and along the sides.
Alessandro had a slight smile on his face while watching me, but quickly dropped it and walked me inside.
I walked inside the house, expecting it to be quiet so I could go sleep or maybe have a small welcoming party.
