Something was different this morning. My alarm clock went off as always, an I woke up like a zombie,as always. Something was off though, I could feel it in my stomach. It was like that tingle in the back of your neck right when a horror movie was at the top of it's suspense.
The dim moonlight was seeping through my window panes and stretching across my room. I got up slowly, with my guard up and my ears open. My gaze drifted to the scenery outside my window. The rolling hills of the countryside were coated with moonlight, a sight that was so familiar it took me a few seconds to really see the beauty of it. I started to make my way downstairs, down the spiral staircase lined with black railing. At the bottom of the staircase was the banner of the the Trevalyn family. Dark blue with a white Pegasus symbol. The halls of the manor were large, black walls covered with an almost translucent dark blue covering tht made the walls look like they were made of glass.
It was the cozy home I grew up in, but to be honest it was a little eerie sometimes. A large white light came from one of the rooms down the hall, lighting up the entire manor. The tingles got worse, they were all the way down my spine, I started to run down the hallway.
The light was coming from the meditation room. Every time I see this room memories come flooding into my mind. It's the room where you truly become a Trevalyn, as far as my family is concerned. It's where you live off of a single peach and your own will. A place to fast for two weeks straight until ur entire body is at peace, a type of training where the magic in our bodies builds up to the point of taking up every inch of our bodies. It's why our magic turns blue I guess.
My heart nearly stopped when I saw the sight ahead of me. The tingles were everywhere now. And I swear time stopped.
