Now it all makes sense why she always sleeps whenever we travel.
I thought she was a sleepyhead for sleeping even though it was just a small distance.
"I think I am ok now. I will sit in the passenger's seat" she said while getting up and sat in the passenger's seat.
I felt so awkward. Why did she suddenly get up? Do I smell bad?
I turned towards her, and she was staring outside the window.
I immediately smelled myself, and it was not bad at all because I took shower in the morning.
Then why? I looked down at the pants then I understood I had the situation below.
I literally face slapped myself. What might she be thinking of me? She might be thinking I am a pervert. Why do I have to become so vulnerable to her?
I lost confidence to speak anymore. I just focused on driving.
"Justin?" she called me.
This almost stopped my heart for a second.
What am I gonna answer when she asks me about my boner?
I pretended like I didn't hear her.
"Justin" she called while shaking my hand.
"Fine. I got a..." I am about to admit.
But she saved me from embarrassment by talking before I complete my sentence.
"How long does it take us to reach home?" she asked me.
ThankGod. I couldn't even imagine where I would put my face if I said those words.
"3 and a half hours more. It takes 2 hours to reach the city and next 1 and half hour to reach home" I said
"What? more than three hours?" she asked while thinking something.
"Is there a way we could reach faster?" she asked me.
"I am trying my best. Why? you want to see your friends as soon as possible?"I asked her.
"Something like that" she said but didn't sound convincing.
She went complete silent again.
After a few minutes of complete silence.
"Justin, is there any convenience store nearby?" she asked me with hope.
"why? are you hungry?"I asked her.
"Can't you answer my question without asking another question?" she snapped at me.
"Sorry, can't you see this is forest? I think the nearest one would be in the next 2 hours when we enter the city" I joked at her.
Her eyes got wider.
She seems to be very uncomfortable.
"Are you ok?"I asked her, but she didn't answer my question.
"Sarah, are you ok?" I asked her again.
This time she shook her head as NO.
"Are you getting panic attack again?"I asked her.
She shook her head as NO.
"Then what?"I asked her, not figuring out her need.
"I got my period" she said almost like a whisper, but I heard it. I immediately stopped the car and turned towards her who was looking down.
