Caitlin opened her eyes, checking her surroundings quickly to see that she was back in Sam and Jess' dorm, lying on their couch. Memories from last night started to come back to her and she remembered that her roommate was gonna bang her boyfriend and decided to crash with them. She must have fell asleep the moment she walked in because she couldn't remember anything else.
Her thoughts were interrupted by punches and grunts and she quickly got up, grabbing her pocket knife from off the coffee table. She rushed to the source and she immediately saw two figures in the dark room, quickly turning the light on.
"Sam?"
"Cait..hey." Sam said, dusting himself off while looking to the other guy, a dazed look on his face as he looked at Caitlin.
"Hey, guys, what's going on?" The three heard, Caitlin quickly looking to her side to see Jessica, a worried look on her face when she entered. "Uh, Dean, this is my girlfriend, Jess, and this is my best friend, Caitlin."
"So, you're Dean Winchester, huh?"
"Yep, that's me. And you look-"
"Too gorgeous to be in college? Sorry to crush your dreams, but not every girl wants to be a stripper." Caitlin replied, a sarcastic smile on her face. Dean looked back at Sam, a smirk on his face. "I like her. Is..she single?"
"Dean.." Sam began, glaring at him. "What are you doing here? It's the middle of the night."
"Can I talk to you? Alone?" Dean asked, looking from him to the two women in the room. "No. Whatever you have to say, you can say it in front of them."
"Dad hasn't been home in a few days." Dean said, Sam scoffing softly. "He's probably having some alone time. So what?"
"Dad's on a hunting trip. And he hasn't been home in a few days." Dean emphasized, Sam's humorous look immediately went to shock and he gulped, looking Jess and Caitlin.
"Um..Jess, Cait, could you excuse us a second?" The two women nodded, both Sam and Dean quickly walking out of the dorm room to talk. "You think Sam will be alright?"
"I don't know. I mean, I get he wants to be here, but then again, that is his Dad." Caitlin explained, Jess looking to her in worry. "Maybe you should go with him."
"What? Why?"
"Well, you said your father and yourself use to track and hunt animals since you were 7. Could that help find his Dad?" Jess asked, Caitlin furrowing her eyebrows. "I'm not sure. I mean, maybe with my tracking skills, it could probably help, but I don't know..it's a little different for humans."
"At least try. If that doesn't work, then we can help him find him another way." Jess suggested. "Come on, Cait..this is Sam's Dad we're talking about. And regardless of how bad he had treated him, Sam still wants to find his father and you have to help him."
"You're right. Are you sure you'll be okay here alone?"
"I think I can hold out on my own. Besides, someone's gotta look out for that sex craze roommate of yours." Jess joked, Caitlin shaking her head and laughing. "Thanks, Jess. I'll bring Sam back in one piece."
"You better." Jess joked once more, both women giggling softly.
-"Hope you got an extra seat.." The Winchester brothers heard, turning to see Caitlin with two duffel bags, one she tossed to Sam filled with some of his clothes and other things. "And where do you think you're going?"
"With you, of course." Caitlin replied, a 'duh' look on her face. "No, Cait..you can't go.."
"Why? Because I'm a woman?" Caitlin asked Sam, raising an eyebrow at him. Sam raised his own eyebrow, not really knowing what to say. "No, its just dangerous where we're going. You know, bears, mountain lions, you know, the good stuff."
"Bullshit. I know you hunt monsters, Dean." Caitlin finally blurted out, Sam and Dean both looking at her in shock. "How did you-"
"Know? I'm a woman, not a dumbass. I can smell the rock salt from your trunk and only people who hunt monsters carry silver." Caitlin explained, crossing her arms. Dean looked at Sam, a smirk on his face when he did.
"I like her."
"Yeah, and I'll like you more if you quit flirting before I shove a bag full of rock salt up your ass. Let's go!" Caitlin said, hopping in the Impala. Dean chuckled softly, still looking at Sam. "Yes, please."
"Dean, shut up."
