Third Person POV:

Everyone sat down in a small circle to talk to Tokeru about what had happened. It was silent for a while, then Akihiro decided to break the ice. "So why did you try to jump, anyways?" She asked, slightly tilting her head to the side to look at Tokeru. No response. Just a cold, dead, stare through her mask. "Will you answer already? Or are we going to be stuck here for ages" 13 had said to try and get her to talk. A tear dripped down from Tokeru's mask. She was obviously scared, hurt even, so she choked on her words and couldn't say anything. Until, she finally was able to say a few things. "..i-i i can't d-do this a-anymore..." She managed to say before breaking down into tears. Akihiro pulled her into a comforting hug and pat her on the head. "Hey, its okay we just want to know what happened so we can help you!" Akihiro smiled softly, trying to cheer the little amalgamate up. "i-i i've b-been so a-alone lately.. i-i d-didn't want t-to d-disturb any o-of you all w-with something a-as stupid as t-that..Y-you all s-seem so b-busy w-with trying to h-help everyone o-out of t-this place a-a-and i-i thought i-i would j-just be a b-burden.." she sobbed. Akina walked up to the two and joined the hug to help comfort Tokeru. "You were lonely?" 13 had knelt down next to them. Tokeru hesitantly nodded in response. "Aw kid you could've just said something, You'd never be a burden to us, even if we dont talk much, We can still make room to spend some time with you!" Akina wore a comforting smile. "And once we escape this place, I bet we can spend lots of time outside with you too!" Akihiro added. Tokeru then lifted her mask up and wiped her tears, "T-thank y-you.... i-I'm sorry f-for the t-trouble..." "Don't be! Its alright! Thats behind us now, But you should tell us when your feeling like that again! Chinami barely saved you, and we all would've been very sad if you left." They all spread from the hug and sat back down in a circle.

Akihiro's POV:

After we all finished talking to Tokeru, We decided to chat for a bit like we used to and take a break from preparing our escape. We all talked for a while about some of the other cells, and the people we haven't personally met yet because they're on the opposite side of the building. "I heard some of them are really strong! The amounts of determination they have in their bodies are incredible!" Tokeru seemed to have returned to being her perky self, That's a relief. "I wonder what they're like" 13 pondered, looking up at the ceiling. "What do you mean by that?" I asked. "Like what they look like, The powers they've gained, Their pasts.. That stuff" 13 always was curious about things like that. When we all first met she questioned us as if it was an interrogation. Of course, its probably out of caution, an instinct of her own. We continued talking about different things like the festivals that happen outside the lab, The people of the fallen kingdoms, and even some about what we remember of our pasts. Tokeru didn't seem to remember anything, really, but she looked eager to listen to everyone else's story. After that, we all kind of changed the subject to the latest news of the lab. "Did ya hear they're doing another transfer to our side of the building?" 13 stated. Our side of the building was the E.C.C. Also known as the 'Emergency Containment Cells'. We all ended up here due to a very dangerous malfunction with our testing. Apparently the 'new' transfers failed a few tests, So they're being taken here like we were. It's pretty exciting to meet newbies, Most of them have been here for as long as we have, They just haven't failed a test until recently. "Yeah. There's 2 people being transferred to the E.C.C., They're said to be extremely dangerous, so i'm pretty sure we should try not to start a fight like last time." Chinami glared at 13 and Akina. They both looked at each other then turned back to Chinami. "Fine, we won't fight anyone" They said in unison. I laughed. The transfers are supposed to be here tomorrow, Dr. Shinten and a few high-armed patrollers will be transferring them. Everyone else fell asleep in their cells, except for 13 and i. 13 stays up training with her power, Because she doesn't like using it in front of others. She told me herself after i had walked in on her using her power, which i somehow managed to survive without being thrown across the cell for eavesdropping. I normally stay up working on a plan to escape the lab with everyone else, Thats why i keep having to sneak out and get chalk so i can write the plan on the walls and easily wash away the evidence once it's explained. So far, Most of the escape plans have been failures, But i dont plan to give up anytime soon! I'm sure i'll eventually find a plan that will work one day. One day, One day we will escape and be free to the world. We haven't lost hope.

*The endless possibilities of your hopes and dreams fill you with DETERMINATION

(A/N: hahahah you thought it was over didn't you? BUT ITS NOT. >:3)

13's POV:

I traced the scars along my body, from the scales to the fins on the sides of my arms. It's hard to concentrate when there is a lot on your mind, So meditation is extremely helpful once you've mastered the way of the Sakura Clan. Akina taught me the basics of what i know, So i must give her some of the credit. Some of the techniques i have based off of different books. i've read about the ways of the Kitami, and how a warrior slayed a dragon with a single slash of the sword. People say meditation got them to where they were, Until they were wiped out when the war began. I may not look it, But i've done research about most of the Kitami culture, Along with the studies from the different clans of magicks and heroes. Most of my fighting technique came from those studies. I sat down on the cold ground, legs crossed and started to calm my breathing. I closed my eyes and concentrated on the surrounding area, Then took a deep breath and decided to use the power i was 'gifted', I started to quietly sing the lullaby of the Star Children. It seemed as if i had left the area i was in, yet i was still physically there. It felt as if the whole world had stopped spinning and i could feel everything in the universe just fade away as my voice hit the notes of each verse. When i opened my eyes i had realized that there was a large bubble of water, somehow hovering in front of me. I had finally done it. I had passed the first phase of the Sakura Trials, finding your power within, until i lost concentration and the bubble popped, water spilling everywhere. Now all i've gotta do is harness that power. I laughed and took my shirt off to let it dry, Then climbed onto the small mattress in the corner of the cell, and drifted off to sleep.
