Chapter 19

Niall's Pov

I watched as Louis handed over his phone to Harry, he took it and pulled it over his ear. I listened attentively, occasionally taking a sip of my coffee and I start to hear kissy noises. I turn to see Louis pucking up his lips at me, "Quit it Tomlinson" I tell him making the rest of my mates laugh and he stops. By now we were all waiting for Ever to answer the phone, and when Harry's lips curve into a smile I know right away she picked up.

I could barely hear her soft angelic voice from where I was sitting and when I hear her say "Holy shit Louis, what do you want?" I immediately turn to face Louis and trying to hold in a laugh. His face was priceless, his mouth was wide open, and his eyes were slung wide open. Then that's when I burst out laughing along with Zayn and Liam. I even hear Harry chuckle a bit.

Now back to Harry. His face looked ten times better than he did these past days, it was surprising. But then at that exact moment his expression changed rapidly. His gleaming smile was now replaced by an expressionless sight, his eyes were wide open, and I swear he even looked a little pale.

Breath bro, you gotta breathe.

Ever's Pov

I had to answer the phone, if I didn't from what I know about Louis, he would call me all day till I answered. I groaned and picked it up.

"Holy shit Louis, what do you want?" I spit out and only then do I notice that it sounded harsher than I intend it to.

"Wong person Love" the person on the other end of the phone says. I notice right away that it isn't Louis perky voice but instead it sound hoarse and deeper. Then I back away the phone from my ear and look at the Id and I almost slap the shit out of myself.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry Harry" I apologize making my voice sound softer than it did a couple of seconds ago. How stupid am I that I didn't even notice who it was? Can't believe I just said that to The Harry Styles. I stop myself there realizing how much I was starting to sound like Kate.

That's when my bedroom door slaps wide open to reveal my very blond best friend.

Speak of the devil....

"It's quite alright babe, I called... well Louis called you to ask if you could meet us in downtown in the park called Millennium?" I hear Harry's voice but I'm more focused on the person behind Kate. I glance over her shoulder to find a very tall, very handsome, and out my league Jake. He looks back at me and smiles "Hey Ever, haven't seen you in a while" he says as they both enter my room without permission.

I doubt Kate has noticed that I was on the phone because she barges over me and following her behind Jake sits next to me. I look up at him and immediately my eyes go towards his Hazel colored eyes. He smiles sweetly and pinches my right cheek "I missed doing this" he chuckles, I've always been annoyed by it. I slap his hand away playfully smiling back at him.

"Hello?" I hear a deep voice and I flash back to reality. I put my finger between my lips signaling both of them to be quiet.

"Sorry, what did you say?" I get up from my bed and walk over to my window and getting weird looks from Kate and Jake. I ignore them and listen more carefully to Harry.

"Oh I was asking you to come join us later at Millennium Park like around 4 in the afternoon" he asks making his accent sound so elegantly through the phone. I'm not busy later so I guess I can go, plus I'm still waiting for an answer from Louis.

"Sure, I'll see you then"

"Alright babe" then he clicks. His last words sounded a little distracted as if he was in deep thought or something. I hope he is alright, what Louis said last night did worry me a bit. I'll just ask him later. For now, I will focus my attention on two of my unexpected guests.

"Uhum!" I walk over to them who have been quietly listening to me.

"Sick?" Jake says clearly dumbfounded.

I frown at him and turn to Kate "Did I miss the memo here?" I sigh.

"Nope" she shakes her head "We came to take you away from this melodramatic scene" she points to my gloomy room and pjs. Oh Kate please delight me with your presence. I know having you and your almost-boyfriend making me feel like the third wheel will surely do wonders.

"Not in the moo..." I start to say but she cuts me off.

"I wasn't asking you, you are going to hang out with us. So you have no choice but to stay quiet and get ready" she takes a grip of my arm and drags me into my closet and shuts the door to it. She's lucky it's a walk in closet, if not id of died from suffocation. I really wasn't in the mood; in fact I had my morning planned out already. It consisted of eating junk food and watching movies. But all of that is now ruined by her majesty and royal cutie.

As I replace my pajamas with my jeans and my black loose shirt with a heart on it over a white tank top, and silver flats. I can hear murmurs coming from the outside of my closet and when I get out I see that Kate had gone from standing to sitting closely next to Jake. Then she notices that I got out and comes over to me taking a hold of my hand "Okay were ready. Now let's go!" she screams yanking me all the way to my front yard and then taking a hold of Jakes hand, which he doesn't mind at all. I on the other hand, am on the brisk of losing my hand.

She led the way and decides to go downtown and watch a movie, Jake being the guy here offers to buys everything. When I say everything I mean everything. It was large this, large that, and large bills he had. We ended watching The Avengers movie, which I was obsessed and litterly watched it so many times that I lost count. My point is I loved the movie. After enjoying the best 143 minutes of my life we head over to subway. And guess who Kate made pay. Yupp that's right, poor Jake here was too blinded by love that he wasn't noticing how he was being stripped from his money. I offered to pay for mine but Jake just refused "I got it Ever, don't worry" he smiles and I just can't argue back with that. Jake you're lucky you're cute.

I walk back to our table and Kate smiles at me evilly "So who was on the phone earlier when we were at your house"

"N-no one" I end up studdering trying to sound like the question didn't just catch me of guard.

"If you say so" she says as Jake comes back with 3 Foot longs, Jesus Christ I was not gonna eat all of that. I'll just eat half and save it for somebody I know would love it.

By the time we finish eating, it ends up being three in the afternoon. For that it would seem like normal number signaling the time, but for me it means that I'd be caught in the One Damn Direction's fandom again. And well that, I didn't like so much, more like not at all.

We spend like half an hour talking about how we should hang out again and how Kate was falling behind at school. Did I mention this girl is a genius? Then that's when Kate leans into Jake shoulder poking his cheek making him blush. I notice it's time for me to leave her highness and royal cutie alone.

"Alright guys, but this is my cue to leave" I say getting up and putting the half of the sandwich in my shoulder bag. They both goodbye me and I exit Subway. It's barely 3:40, and I know its early but knowing how ridiculously famous they were, its best I was there early. I didn't want to get mobbed along with them. I still wanted to live, trust me.

I get to the park too quickly and decide to just walk around check out all the food stands. I was still full from all the things Jake bought and Kate made us eat. The park was always the same concrete stairs that led to a stadium were bands nobody knew of, played songs. There was a field of green grass and it looked so fresh. I walk past the two towers that shot out water. I remember getting wet in it, it hurt when the water falls from more than 4 stories high, it was still fun though. That section is practically full of people running around soaked. To my left are restaurants and more food stands. I go up the concrete stairs and in view I see the great bean. This bean is what makes downtown famous.

A lot of people come to see it and take pictures. I gaze into its mirror flection of myself as I walk into it. It feels as if the bean is closing up on me and out of nowhere I feel arms suddenly wrapped around me.
