Percy adjusted his sea-green eyes as the golden bright light hit against his tan face. Thoughts suddenly overcame his mind as he sat up pressing his back against the cold wall. What a wonderful morning, the sun is shining, wind is breezing, birds are singing. The god smiled and dropped it immediately replacing it with an annoyed look. Oh who is he kidding, fuck apollo and his sunshiny little bird friends. Percy flipped off the sky as his body turns away from the window, he pulls his white fluffy blanket over his body as he lets his eyes shut close.

"Did Goldilocks piss you off or something? Who stuck a stick up your ass." A gruff voice responded from the doorway.

"Apparently you did just now." The younger male scoffed.

"The only thing that's going to be going up your ass is my di-"

"What do you want, Ares." Percy stern voice made the god pause his sentence.

"Taking you out, can't have your pretty self staying inside all the time."

"That's what I'm supposed to do, since everyone of you decided it's how it should be. Apparently, you don't want your little pawn to run off and go with the person they love."

Ares feels guilt crawl upon his face, as he turns his head away from the younger God's view. Percy seemed to notice quickly, He saw the flash of guilt and pity go across the war god's face. But of course, he didn't say anything.

"Please give us a chance, let us adore you, show you how much we love and care for you. Open your heart out to us and let us in." Ares softly says, breaking up the awkward silence.

The Ravenette seemed to be a bit startled by the sudden careness in his voice. The thoughts from the conversation with Adrastreia repeated over and over in his mind.

"Hardened your soul and ice your heart. Make your fortress impenetrable, and let no one in."

"Except me."

Percy sat up, fiddling with the corner of his blanket. He didn't know what decision to make anymore, suppose it wouldn't hurt to try and see how things would go between him and the rest of the olympians.

Or he could isolate himself from everyone and hide in this big quiet palace all by himself for eternity.

What seemed like forever, Percy knew the decision he had to make.
