"I've made my decision."

"I'll take in on your offer. but that doesn't mean I will forget what you guys did to me.."

"What you guys did to me.. was one of the most painful things to have dealt with emotionally and physically. That day was the realization that I will never age, finish high school, go to college, have a family, grow old with the love of my life, and to die in peace. But you didn't even give a second thought. Do any of you care, or am I just a pawn to play around with?!"

Ares jumped at the sudden outburst.

"You're all so frustrating to handle with. None of you care, you don't care for anyone. We're all just your puppets in a dollhouse that will someday be tossed away because you'll grow tired of us." Percy's eyesight became blurred as he chocked on some words.

The war god slowly stepped closer towards the male.

"You're right, We are frustrating. You have every right to be mad. But you misunderstood about us caring, I guess you could say we got jealous and carried away. I'm not one to show how I feel, but I admire you.. how you're so caring towards other, the way you manage to defeat someone so easily, and the way you look at everyone with nothing but love. Guess you could say I let my emotions get the best of me."

Percy removes his hands away from his face. Slowly looking up and making direct eye contact, feeling mixed emotions overflow.

None of them dared to say a word.

The only sound they could ever focus on is the sound of multiple birds singing away and the strong breezy wind.

Ares sighed, deciding to break the silence.

"Come with me, I'll take you to see your mother if that'll make you feel better. I know it's against the rules, but after everything. You deserve to see her."

Percy desperately wanted to take his hand, but at the same time he doesn't know if he could ever face his mother. Just the thought of him living forever and her not having much time breaks him.

The Ravenette loved his mother, he couldn't bare the thought of losing the person who ever cared and risked their life just for him.

The choice will probably be the only way to ever see his mother again before isolating inside this castle all by himself. A strange pull in his gut told him to face his mother, Percy knew he had to take the offer.

Without any hesitation he grasped Ares hand.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go."

Poor Percy, he just doesn't get a break. But that will soon change.. or will it?
