About the author:
I am a girl of 17 who currently lives and breathes for swimming and writing while still trying to manage school.
Author's Name ?
ChickNAlfredo
Where are you from:?
Denmark
Where do you get inspiration from?
Everywhere around me - everything and everybody I see give me inspiration for locations and persons, and noises, emotion, music, the rush of endorphins while swimming - it all inspires me. There is nothing better for me than to make up stories, and the fact that I have the posibility to tell others is inspiring in itself.
What are your interests?
Swimming, reading, writing, movies/tv (oh yeah, I'm a geek), music, partying, living.
What genres do you like to read?
I actually like most genres, as long as there is some realism in them - a realistic character and realistic reaction to what he/she experiences throughout the story. A book can have vampires and fairies and werewolves and still be realistic in some ways.
What genres do you like to write?
I love something to do with history, whether it's through the memories of a vampire (the way it'll be in 'Idunn's Apples') or actual historical fiction.
What stories do you hate?
I truly hate cliches. Like the student/teacher epidemy or the Edward/Damon vampire copies. No, I'm not one of those who's like "Ugh, vampires, I hate them", but I do hate the cliches that often follow.
Any advice for budding authors who don't know where to start?
If you have an idea for a book, and don't know where to start, I suggest you don't start yet. Only when you have a general plot inside your head you can begin. When you have thought out multiple scenes that should happen, and you've found a good way of opening the book. Also, find out if you want to write 1st or 3rd person, multi-POV, if it's going to be one novel or a series etc. Also, start from the beginning. A good book is a book that surprises the reader, and in order to surprise the reader you must surprise yourself.

About the Stories:
What is it called?
Idunn's Apples
Genres?
Humor/Vampire/Horror - perhaps a bit of spiritual and historical.
Who is the main protagonist (character)?
Melissa Hamby, 18
What are they like?
Melissa is an ex-swimmer and has a great, if not at times misplaced humor. She is not your ordinary main female character, because she isn't very moral or that very clever. She makes mistakes, and she learns from them.
Summary/Synopsis of the story:
The story is about a young girl, Melissa Hamby, whose friends are killed by a gang of vampires. She soon learns that this gang's not alone, but that there's hundreds of vampires out there - and they're organized. Follow her into the world of vampires and the web of lies and secrets that has been woven around the greatest myth of all: what is the purpose of eternal life?
Extra information about the story:
Did you watch True Blood season 5? OMG did you SEE the epicness of having a vampire goddess? You see where I'm going? Hell yeah, Lilith is featured in this story, but only as a myth. Also, do you know about "The Shining Ones"? A group of people in ancient times whose purpose was to make experiments and enlighten the people? In my version, they're vampires.... See the historical-ness?
