What stories do you hate?
Non-fiction works about child abuse, kidnapping and other such serious issues in the world. I live in the real world, I'm reading to escape into a different world
What advice can you give to budding authors?
Start where you first had the idea. Even if that's the end scene, it doesn't matter. Then build your story backwards/sideways/inside out and around that. But the most important thing I can tell a writer is your first draft is not your last so do not panic and if you like, there are other people who will too. You're never alone, when you write for yourself, you end up writing for an audience of like-minded people too

Aila, Sarla, Dyle, Jex
What are they like?
Aila is soft and abiding, occasionally taken advantage of by Jex who is cunning and determined to get everything he wants.
Sarla, related to Aila; older and wiser, she is a gentle strong character.
Dyle seems to be the most clear-headed and somewhere deep inside the most compassionate too, despite his overwhelming size
Summary:
The sky is stained crimson with blood of those sacrificed. Next in line to die, two young girls and two guys must run away. But their path is long and dangerous, and one of the girl's has a secret... If they even make it across the canyon without dying, is it really better on the Other Side?
Extra information about the story:
Sarla and Dyle were made for each other, they were lost before they met and they had not realised that until after their eyes locked. Jex notice Aila's long red hair the moment she stepped into the room and he had to make her his.
