" Didn't think of that did you cutie and why does it matter anyway.Like I said we can just pack It up but we have to do It quick the wound is pretty deep," Em said. I turned my head to Luz again and saw her shaking Her head "I'm sorry but it's not that easy" "what do you mean" I ask. Luz sighed " In my world we call these things zombies and If they bite you or if you die than you will turn into one."This made Ed sit up and start talking " I don't want to be one of them it was sad enough seeing mom like that just kill me" "NO" me and Em yell at the same time I turn to Luz again " please Luz there has to be something that we can do to help him." She hums " there is one thing but I know you won't like it"
" what is it we will do anything we already lost mother and father we can't lose Ed too" I say Luz looks at me and runs her hands through her short hair I just noticed how well it suits her. " I know you guys won't go for it but the only way is to" she pauses and looks around "hurry up we need to know now before we run of time to do it" Em yells
" ok ok the only way to save him is.to.cut.his arm off" Luz pulled her self back waiting for what we were going to say next.Me and the twins just looked at each other and It was quiet for a long time. " you are just lucky he wasn't bitten on the shoulder or face If he was than we could do nothing but we have to do It fast or he might turn" Luz says finally breaking the silence. Em and I looked at each other thinking the Same thing and finally say "he'll do it." Ed turned his head repeatedly from me to Em "what do you mean I'll do it you didn't ask me how I felt about this."
"Look at it this way Ed at least it's not your dominant arm" Em said patting Ed on the shoulder.Ed took Em's hand and put It down back to her side "yeah no there has to be another way Luz"
"No" "What if some one sucked the venom or what ever out"

" what about a Cure"
"No and how would we get it in time to save you"

"But you didn't even know what I was about to say" Ed said putting his arms up into the sky.
"I didn't need to know what you would say because I told you this was the only way" Luz puts her hands up almost mirroring Ed. "And we are about to run out of time so make this choice quick."
Ed puts his hands down slowly and looked at his arm and sighed. "Please Ed just do it are you really ready to see the Titans now." I say Ed pulls his eyes away from the bite "w-well how will I know if this won't do the same" he said in a little over a whisper"we don't but we have to try it's the only hope." He looked at me and then at Luz and nodded his his head "ok fine I'll do it."
" Ok with that said we have to land this ASAP" Luz said she began to shake king waking him up from his nap. " Hey king were about to land so you have to wake up" king blinked a few times before replying " you dare wake the mighty King of demons you Will carry me peasant." Luz shook her head with a smile " if that's your way of saying your still tired than you can ride.in.my-" Luz pauses to look at the bit that was take out of her cat hood. "Aww man well it's ok you can still ride in it" she said smiling it amazes me how she can stay so positive even in this situation "ok Owlbert can you find us a place to land" Owlbert hoots in Response and we begin to fly down to the ground.
"Think this is a good spot we should camp out here" I say examining the surrounding area "who made you the boss Mittens" Edric said with a smirk written on his face. "Shut up Ed or I'll cut off more than just your arm."Geez Mittens can't take a joke you would make a wonderful leader" Ed said putting his hands up as if I called him out.
"Alright that's enough Bickering you two" Emira said with her hands on her hip " Put your arm out Ed and by the way I would make a better leader" she joked. Ed and I rolled our eyes and he put his hand out for Em to examine. "Wow that is deep" Em said "we need to get it of quick." Using her illusion Magic she made an ax Appear and it hovered over Ed's arm.

"Aaagh" Ed yells " you know I'll just be over here with Luz" I say beginning to shimmy away. "Relax I can't cut his arm of with an illusion spell" Em laughed " That's not funny Em he could die and you wasted our time to make a joke" I yell low enough to not attract the dead's attention but loud enough to to get my point across. "Sorry mittens but in all seriousness we have to find something to get his arm off" Em said taken aback by my outburst. " well we need to find something quick we don't have a lot of time" Luz says walking up with king in her hoodie. "I know where we can find weapons but it might be dangerous" Me and Luz looked at one another and back at Emira
