*TRIGGER WARNING* = THROWING UP/SICKNESS

i trudged along the sidewalk, clutching oikawa's sweatshirt i had draped over my forearm against my body, stifling a yawn. the team was back to early morning practices, very much to my dislike. the gray clouds hung low over the horizon, the air smelling of rain, morning dew clinging to leaves and blades of grass. i brushed off my track pants with my free hand, sighing as i flung my backpack more comfortably onto my shoulders as i neared the gym, the doors already open. the golden light spilled out into the gloomy atmosphere, and i sighed as i walked through the doors. i was greeted as i walked in, and i waved to the boys who had already begun warming up for the day. i set down my belongings and approached oikawa, who stopped to look down at me with a dark look.

i bit the inside of my cheek and looked up at him.

"wha-" he cut me off.

"You shouldnt be at school already!!" he said, pouting. i rolled my eyes.

"Jeez, toru, im fine." i muttered, and stuck out my fist that gripped his sweatshirt.

"I washed it." I mumbled, blowing air into my cheeks. he took it slowly and i crossed my arms with an annoyed sigh. i tapped my foot against the ground, looking down at my shoes before smirking up at the group.

they all slightly cowered at my gaze, and i winked.

"Now, 25 laps around the gym. GO!" I shouted. They stared in awe.

"C'mon princesses, get a move on!" I shot, walking over to the bench and plopping down next to the coach, crossing my legs as the boys began to run. Irihata chuckled, scratching the back of his head.

"You seem to scare the boys even more than I do!"he said and i smiled.

"Ehhh! youre much more frightening than me." I said, and then turned to watched the boys jog. I yawned, rubbing my eyes and looking back up at the group as they ran. Soon enough, they were finished with their jog, and they stood around us, panting. Irihata took it from there, instructing them to practice with eachother. I was taking notes on the clipboard in my lap, writing critiques Irihata would murmur to me, and writing some of my own. We'd go over these with be boys at the end of practice, and after school we'd work on fixing them. My stomach churned, leaving me feeling slightly nauseated. I placed my hand on my forehead and turned to Irihata.

"Im going to run to the restroom real quick." I said with a smile, standing up and setting the clipboard and pen in my place as i approached the restroom.

I turned on the running water and leaned over the sink, gazing at myself in the mirror. I felt tired, and I looked it too. I skipped breakfast this morning, due to waking up late and lack of motivation, leaving my stomach empty. Not to mention my lack of sleep and the amount of work i've been putting in over the last few months, i felt completely drained. I clutched my stomach and collapsed in front of a toilet, the contents of my stomach spilling out. I coughed, my throat stinging, the taste clinging to my tongue. I curled over the toilet once more, coughing and sputtering. I flushed the toilet weakly, leaning my back against the stall and burying my face into my knees. I closed my eyes, clutching my body in a sorry attempt to pull myself together again.

"Fuck this-" i grumbled, and stood up on my shaky legs, approaching the sink and rinsing the wretched sourness from my mouth. i then turned, and pushed open the bathroom door, eyes following me all the way. I sat down again, smiling at everyone and they returned to practicing.
