Ross Murray made his way down the aisle looking for the last item on his list , the shopping cart he pushed rolled while making a screeching noise.
He halted infront of the fridges that held all the dairy food products, he hummed some unfamiliar tune that stuck in his head as his eyes searched for milk.
He opened the fridge and picked one milk carton, checking the date he decided to take another one, he knew Justin will finish the milk in less than a week.
The young female at the checkout sent flirtatious smile towards Ross as he waited for her to pass his items, he kindly pretended not to notice the way she eyed him hungrily. The supermarket was quite empty at that hour, people were still at work but Ross took the day off.
"That would be thirty four dollars and fifty cent"
she bit her lower lip seductively as Ross offered the money. He couldn't help but smile as he felt her eyes on him as he carefully put the groceries in bags.
"Have a nice day!"
She called after him as he walked out of the shop .

Ross sighed as he placed the bags on the counter along with the car keys, he rolled his shoulders and sauntered lazily towards the living room, there he flopped on the couch and yawned.
It was his day off and yet he didn't have any good or decent thing to do , he could call someone but he wasn't sure it was a good idea to interrupt other people's lives simply out of boredom and sure enough his contact list was short and most of the numbers he knew will lead him only to trouble.
There were a few hours before Justin will return , he turned the TV on and flipped through channels until settling on a fashion show .
His eyes followed the young well built males that posed in winter clothing, he chuckled as one of them swayed his hips ridiculously .
" Idiot..."
He muttered. Ross used to model when he was younger but it was only a way to earn good money so he could support Justin, he didn't like the job and found himself more interested in the cameras themselves, that's why he became later a photographer. He was hired mostly by young couples to make their wedding album and occasionally did jobs for modelling agencies and the likes, he hated the young pompous models that he had to work with but money was money and as long as the pictures he took were good he got paid well.
Being a freelance worker granted him the ability to decline job offers , he was represented by ' Memories ' company but the boss let him have a free hand.
Ross turned the TV off and checked his watch, he sighed as he discovered that only half an hour passed.
He cursed as he remembered that he didn't unpack the groceries, he ran to the kitchen and hurried to check the dairy food,he put them quickly inside the fridge. He put the rest of the items in their place and made himself a sandwich.
As he chewed his phone vibrated in his pocket, the sound of a new message startled him. He digged his phone out and eagerly looked at the sender .
A smile played on his lips as his son's name appeared on the screen,he hurried to open the message only to groan at it's contents.
'I'm on my way '
he texted back and grabbed the keys from the counter, he locked the door behind him as he left the small two story house and jumped into his car, starting the engine and taking off.
It wasn't new to him to rush to ' Reginald High ' , his son was a well known trouble maker, always managing to create huge scandals and anger the teachers. Not once Ross' parents noted that Justin took after him which may have been true considering his famous high school days, thinking about his past caused an involuntary shudder ran through him.
