Hermione found herself looking in the mirror of her dorm room, admiring her pink, flowing dress, ecstatic at the thought of spending her night with the handsome Viktor Krum.

She put on a small amount of pale pink lip gloss before finally heading towards her door, nodding at Crookshanks as she left "Don't wait up!" She said jokingly as she half skipped towards the main hall.

Franco's POV:

Draco looked around the hill at his peers dancing and having a good time, Pansy, being her usual obnoxious self, was stood by the drinks table, flirting with a few 7th years, Draco rolled his eye's, he knew that bringing Pansy as a date would leave him mostly alone, but he didn't care, he rather preferred it that way.

Giving the room one last glance he heads towards the door for some air, the night is young and the music is upbeat, he'd be a fool not to enjoy himself yet, so much was on his mind, his parents were always talking about the dark lord, and the plans he had for his future.

They also talked about Potter, the meer mention of his name would always make him cringe, as much as he hated that "boy who lived" he still felt rather embarrassed that he'd been rejected by him that first day at Hogwarts, he had really hoped they could be friends, afterall, they had a lot in common, both purebloods and famous, destined for great things.

But no, Potter was more interested in the mud blood and that Weaslebee. Never the less, that didnt matter, tonight he wanted to have fun, as annoying and obnoxious Pansy could be, he atleast knew she would be up for some fun later and he looked forward to that.

Hermione POV:

This was it, the moment she was waiting for, she would get to dance with her date and feel like a princess, as much as she hated to admit it, he was still a girl and liked the idea for being a princess and tonight she was one! A beautiful gown and a handsome prince on her arm, or rather, a famous Quidditch player "close enough" she smirked to herself.

The doors opened and she looked out at everyone dancing, smiling down at Viktor who grinned looking up at her.

She slowly made her way towards him and took his hand. "Care to dance?" He asked in his broken english accent, she smiled and nodded, before allowing him to lead her to the dancefloor.

Draco POV:

After a few hours of standing alone, Draco grew more and more aware of how alone he was, Pansy had already left with one of the other boys, not that he cared, he wasnt that attracted to her anyway, he was just hoping for a good time, but it's okay, he could live without it.
But he had noticed one person, who was looking ravishing in her blush pink gown.

Hermione Granger, of all people. Draco was practically disgusted by his attraction to her, a mud blood, worst,  mudblood who was best friends with his enemy.
It disnt matter anyway, everyone knew Granger was a virgin, he'd never get her to put out anyway so there was no point even thinking about it.

But yet, he couldnt take his eyes off of her, not while she was dancing so gracefully and looking like a lady, he couldn't handle it. His lust soon turned to disgust though, as he watched her walking towards Potter and hugging him.

What she saw in him, Draco would never understand. But what's this?
For some reason, she was shouting and running from the hall, and her friends watched her leave, Potter looking confused and Weasley looking angry, but why?

After a moment he snapped out of it, who cared? She was nothing to him. He reminded himself.

"Perhaps I should head to bed" he says out loud, finishing his drink as he started to walk towards his common room.
