Chapter 12

i woke up and suddenly didnt recognise my surroundings, im not in my room, where am i? I frantically sat up and accidently knocked an arm off from around my waist that happened to be Christian's, i then remembered where i was, Cristian's house, i dont live in my parents house anymore, it all came rushing back to me, memories of times that i shared with my parents, times that i will never forget, from a young child to just the other day.

my first day of school

"mummy, daddy" i cried, reaching up to be pulled into my parents arms, my mum cradeled me tight while my dad stood back smiling at me.

"our little girls' growing up so fast hun" my dad spoke, a sniffle in his voice, my mum just held me tighter into her arms, as if she never wanted to let me go, a few tears slipped her eyes

"have a great day Bella, make lots of friends and paint mummy a beautiful picture" my mum smiled at me while handing me a little barbie backpack and brought me into the front gates of my school "this is your kindergarten teacher Bella" she wiped her eyes and pointed at the old humble looking lady, i smiled and then i was pulled into 2 pairs of arms "bye Bell" my parents spoke, a tear slipped my eye "bye mummy, bye daddy" i held them tight for a few seconds before they left.

the time we went on our holiday when i was 13

"come on Dad" i yelled, while i dived down the giant waterslide "wooo"

"Bella, i dont know about-" he was cut off by my mum pushing him down the slide head first, i burst out laughing and she smirked at me.

"LETS DO THAT AGAIN!" he shouted when he reached the bottom of the waterslide, i giggled and dragged him up the stairs to the top for another go-

"Bella........ Bella...... Bella are you okay?" Christian was shaking me, i rubbed my eyes and looked at him.

"Yeah, just remembering stuff" i replied, "what time is it" i wrapped my arm around his torso, pulling myself to lay on my side and face him and plant a small kiss on his nose which made him laugh and wrap his arms around my waist again.

"its 5:30 babe, mum's making dinner" almost immedietely after he said that, the smell of mexican food filled the house, i smiled to myself, Christian noticed and he pulled me up off the bed and ran out the room holding my hand and down the stairs to go eat.

After dinner, Christian and i decided to go for a walk, we found a little boardwalk along the beach not far from Christian's home, we walked hand in hand in a comfortable silence, admiring the sunset that was on the horizon of the water, the dark sky was filled with amazing pink, orange, yellowy colors.

"its beautiful" i breathed out, almost a whisper

"it is" Christian smiled at me, "not as beautiful as you but" i giggled as he wrapped his strong arms around my waist from behind and bent down slightly to put his head on my shoulder. We just stood there for a while longer, i felt so safe in Christian's arms, its amazing how in such a short time, my life could change so fast, memories of my parents always came into my mind, there wasn't one time of the day that i wasn't thinking of them, they'll forever be in my heart.

"baby?" Christian called me that, it became a habit of his, i think its quite adorable

"yes?"

"what day is it tomorrow?" he questioned, smirking at me

"friday, why?"

"nope"

"im pretty sure its friday"

"it is friday, but what else?" oh i totally forgot, it was my birthday, my 15th birthday

"my birthday" i laughed
