Is it just coincidence? [Tewksbury & Reader]

Chapter 8 : Safe and Sound

"what happened!?" I asked him as i had not noticed the man before and did not know why we had brought me to my room. 

suddenly we heard a knock at out room 

"It might be the man I saw earlier" he said giving only half the information, making me more confused 

"what man!?" i asked him impatiently 

"there was a man outside the café, he was searching for us" he said in a whisper 

"knock knock" we heard the person knock more impatiently. We stood there frozen not knowing what to do. we could hear the doorknob moving as the person was trying to come inside. there was no peephole to see who was there however, there was a small crack which was big enough to see the person.  

"there is a crack on the door!" i said as i peeped from the hole and saw that is was a woman holding a vessel and a bill. i went to open the door but tewksbury stopped me

"what are you doing!?" he asked he thoroughly confused 

"it's just the house keeper" i said happpily and opened the door 

"what took you so long?" the woman asked me impatiently 

"sorry, i was sleeping" i said apologetically 

"anyway, here is the meal you ordered and here is the bill" she said and shoved the bill in my hand

"Will you pay the bill now or will you pay the full bill including your lodging tomorrow?" she asked me while tapping her feet on the ground.

"I will pay tomorrow" i said as i shut the door on her face as i was annoyed with her behaviour 

"what is up with that woman?" i said mumbling to myself 

"tewksbury" i called out to him as i couldn't spot him anywhere in the room  

"yeah?" he said coming out of the bedroom 

"I have something to tell you..." I said guiltily.
