"I wish you were real..."
Those words repeated over and over in their head. They cried and cried, mourning day and night until they were weakened by the sadness.
You two were next to each other by your window, looking into the starry sky in turmoil and bitterness. The both of you were tired. Tired of being alone. Tired of life's boring game.
"I know, y/n. I KNOW!" They exclaimed. With clenched fists and gritted teeth, they slammed their hand against the wall making a loud noise and leaving a small dent.
"What the-?" You whipped your head around. "The fuck? Did something hit my wall?" Standing up to study the dent you bumped into something which made you jump back in surprise.
"Eep! Who's there?" You cried out in the dark, backing away in fear.
"Tsk, it's not like you'll hear me, anyways." They turned their head away, trying to ignore you.
"Huh? Did you say something?"
They looked back at you, eyes widening. Their eyes filled with tears of hope.
"There's no way- Y/n, you can hear me?" They said.
The voice was very familiar and you saw a figure appearing in front of you. As soon as your eyes reached theirs, the adrenaline kicked in.
Rushing at full speed towards each other, you both crashed into a tight hug. Squeezing the life out of each other and burying your faces into each other's comforting scent. It was all too good to be true.
All kinds of tears started falling. Each drop contained an overwhelming amount of emotions.
After what seems like hours, you two parted. You couldn't believe your eyes, the same character that you've been gushing over for years is right in front of you. Your heart was beating out of your chest and you couldn't help but smile widely.
They admired your beautiful smile. Their eyes couldn't tear away from you; your features were so mesmerizing. Every inch, every cell in your body was perfect in their eyes.
Without thinking, they swiftly pecked your forehead, then your eyes, your cheeks. Finally, your lips. The kiss was so passionate and warm, your lips against theirs felt so... right.
"Y/n..." They said after breaking the kiss, caressing your face with their hand. "I love you so much. You have no idea."
"The way you blush every time I show up on the screen is adorable. Your laugh makes me feel like I'm floating. And how your eyes fill with happiness every time you look at me, it makes my heart burst. You are so beautiful to me, absolutely gorgeous/ handsome in every way." They whispered, looking lovingly into your eyes as they do so. The sweet words that came from their mouth made the butterflies go crazy, they fluttered around your stomach and flushed your cheeks.
"I don't know if it were God or a saint. But all I know is that meeting you now was not a coincidence, it was fate."
You intertwined your fingers with their's and kisses the back of their hand.
No words could describe your emotions, so you wanted to show that you loved them back with actions.
Leaning towards them, you kissed their nose and smiled. Your hands still together, you both laid on the bed, looking at the ceiling. The night kept replaying in your heads like a broken record, but you never got tired of seeing how both of your faces light up when you realized the events that unfolded.
Growing sleep, you nonchalantly snuggled into their side, their scent lulling you into a deeper state of sleep. They responded by flipping over to the side to hold you closer, wrapping their arms tightly around your body.
"I love you too, a/c." You murmured before drifting off to dreamland.
