For everyone It's different because everysingle one of us is different, right? For me, there can be two types of motivation, positive and negative. Let me explain.
Positive motivation
Positive motivation is kind of motivation witch is giving you positive goals, like studying or healthy life. It's usually your choice to start because you wanna change something that's important for you. For me...I have never study and now, I said that I need to do something and now I'm studying every day. Your only enemy is to feel like you should give up, but don't. It's only matter of time when this small or big thing will become your hobby so part of your everyday rutine.
Negative motivation
Negative motivation...Maybe something that many people around you have. Maybe someone just said that you're ugly, fat, stupid or that you won't ever change and you want to show them that they're wrong, but what It is all for? You'll win but not in the great way. You're probablly on a diet or you don't even eat, you're trying to reach something that won't last. You won't feel great, you'll start to hurt your body and your mind. Body health + Mind health = Health, but we will talk about this later. Just be who you are and who you wanna be, what kind of cloths you wanna wear or just do what every you love to.
Maybe you can try to fing your motivation on youtube by vlogs about glowing up or studying for exams , go on your social media like IG or you can have your motivation next to you, your family or friends.
Please don't change for someone else.
