Chapter 8

Roll's POV:

I awoke to the sound of talking. Good thing my helmet is on, It mostly covers my eyes. I look around to see Megaman sitting on the floor speaking to Lan through the viewing screen

I'm also lucky that Lan can't see past him, I'm pretty sure the screen only limits to the front. I listen closely to them even though it might not be my business

"What!? Nononono" Megaman says

He stands up and waves his hand

"Lan, I don't think that's a good idea."

He hums and tries to think of something

"I'm not sure, Try to appeal to her? Like take her someplace...I don't know, I'm new to this to."

Lan starts pacing around frantically

"Lan...It's not that difficult, Just ask her out on a date" Megaman suggests

"Easy for you to say! I'm not like you, I would like to keep my reputation" Lan spat back

"Well. If you don't want my help then I can just leave, Besides I think our yelling woke up Roll" Megaman says as he turns behind him

I quickly close my eyes before he sees I'm awake

Lan's annoyance turns into a mechivious smile, Which then turns into one of joy

"Thanks Megaman"

"No problem Lan, But please don't approach me with these situations. I'm new to this stuff as well, I think I'm doing great though. Roll really seems to love my company"

I smile still staring the the ceiling, The viewing screen closes and I take this chance. With one jump I quickly get behind the couch and hide from Megaman. He turns back over to where I was, A look of confusion crossing his face

"What?" He asks himself

"Where did you go?" He says as he approaches my previous spot

I snicker slightly and cover my mouth, His head shoots upwards

"I heard you!" Megaman yelled, His boyish smile crossing his face

I move once again while he is facing the other direction, This time by the exit. I crouch down behind it and look to my side...He disappeared

Megaman's POV:

I look around towards the door, I heard her but I can't see her...Aha!
I quietly sneak up behind her, Lower my head so its upside down and face her

"BOO!" I yell loudly while she's still looking around the corner

She screeches and backs against the wall, I'm still hanging my head upside down with a smile

"Megaman...You scared the heck outta me" She wheezes

"Sorry, You were hiding. I mean what did you expect!" I say, Feeling the data rush to my head (Instead of blood)

She moves closer and puts her hand on my helmet, Then shortly after shoves it up making me fly backward

I lay there on the ground dumbfounded, Then I burst into a fit of laughter. I see Roll stand up and adjust her helmet then walk over to me. She offers her hand to me and I graciously accept it, Her heaving me up

"Why did you do that?" I say still laughing in between

"I could see your face changing color!"

"I felt it...Can I ask you something?" Megaman asks
