This story is set post-Battle of Hogwarts. As an avid fic reader myself, I think these stories are the ones that give a fresh perspective on a series that I've read over and over again. I wanted to write something that acknowledges that Draco Malfoy is a flawed character and that prejudice takes time to unlearn. But it's never too late to educate yourself and try to be better and more accepting.
With that in mind, I would like to vehemently and unwavering state that black lives matter. Black trans lives matter. Black women's lives matter. Black men's lives matter.
It's never too late to unlearn hate.
