"Let's just trash it." Sora said as he deleted a planned thought in his mind, his former plan contradicted what he wanted. And what he wants for now was to relax in this peaceful world.
There was no need to worry about the plot or prepare for any battles. He'll relax so much that he'll be the embodiment of laziness.
Sora looked at the huge stack of papers on his desk and sighed. Though dreaming of that laziness was a bit far off from his current situation as he needed to finish the documents delivered to his office.
A year had passed since his awakening, that made him nine years old. In what world does a nine year old child works in an office as a CEO of a multimillionaire company....
.... that's right, its him, Yua Sora.
He thanked his wealthy predecessors, but at the same time a bit angry at them for leaving early and having a nine year old sort out their company. They should be thankful since if not for him, then those greedy pigs might've had their grubby hands corrupt the company.
Sora clicked on the phone, "Clive." He called out, and not even a minute, the door to his office opened an showed the loyal butler.
"Yes, young master." Clive had said as soon as he stood close and bowed to Sora. The young child had been used to being treated like this so he wasn't that weirded out at the blatant display of difference in status.
"As a child, shouldn't I be enjoying my youth and not wasting my days in this cooped up office." Sora started as he spun his chair, the action itself much childlike and brought a smile on Clive's face. Sora ignored the expression and continued his actions.
"Yes, as you should, young master." Clive said in return making sure to stare and save the childish action of his young master in his memories.
"I feel quite bored lately, stamping and reading these papers all day. I think it's better for me to have a tour to potential schools I would go in this upcoming school year." Sora said and stopped his chair spinning. He jumped down from the chair and took out his cellphone, he dialed a number.
"It's Yua Sora. I need you guys to come here for a bit." He said and quickly ended the call. As he needed to wait, Clive had already prepared refreshments for him. The butler prepared a few scones and mango shake, appropriate to the hot weather at the moment. Sora sat on the sofa and ate his brunch.
Not long after, a series of footsteps sounded outside the door. Clive already knew what to do and stepped outside for a moment to welcome the guests.
A second later, Sora saw at the corner of his gaze the bodyguards he had met back at the funeral. They each sported their own office suits since office work was their side job under the Yua's. Their mannerism changed at the present as they will be meeting their current boss. If their normal co-workers saw them, then they would surely be weirded out by their soldier-like strides.
Sora placed down the foods he held as soon as the bodyguards lined up behind the sofa in front of him. He looked at them and smiled.
"I'm bored." Sora started as he stood up and walked towards his desk, he grabbed a few things before going back and stood in front of the bodyguards.
"So, have someone else do those in the meantime. I'll be picking schools on where I'll get my diploma." Sora said as he gestured to the stacked up pile of papers on his desk.
His strides cheerful towards the door, accompanied by Clive who had bowed a farewell to the bodyguards.
Sora and Clive left, leaving the bodyguards in the office.
It was only after Sora left that the bodyguards started to make eye contact with each other.
After a long silence, and eye contact affirming their next movements, they nodded to themselves as they walked towards the desk, each taking a stack of paper that they would do for the day.
They were already used to this since it wasn't the first time they experienced this kind of task. Not only Sora, the previous CEO's also often did this either out of boredom or just because.
It was hard work being under the Yua's.
But at least, the pay is worth it. The collective thoughts of the bodyguards rang inside their heads as they psyched themselves for the day.
______
Thankfully, Sora's family didn't like looking extravagant that much so their cars only looked decent. So instead of a limo or racecars, there were only black cars with different brands that his family owns.
It might turn some heads, but it didn't catch uneccessary attention.
Looking out of the window, Sora thought on how he sometimes see a restaurant pass by and how it would be good to just splurge on foods. But alas, his body was already full, plus he didn't want to get out of the car yet since he was feeling a bit lazy.
Passing by a corner, Sora saw a familiar visage that he can't help but sit up to get a better look. Clive saw this but didn't make any comments, though from the corner of his gaze, he can see Sora staring at a pair of children walking at the sidewalk.
A tall child accompanying a smaller child that held a gaming console.
"It's fun being in Tokyo, I see many familiar faces." Sora said and went back to laying down. He was smiling as if satisfied with something.
"Right. We have a vacation house in Sendai. That's perfect since if memory serves right, the eagle is a full set." Sora chuckled after finishing his monologue, he then looked at Clive, and like a young master, he raised his arms.
"I will be stationed at Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Study and graduate, and come back to the company once I turn 18. Relay this to the Private Team." Sora said and Clive was already on the move as he wrote down the orders he received.
Sora couldn't help but be a bit bothered that there weren't smartphones yet. Correspondence wasa but slow during this early years in the 21st century.
"Additionally, try to look up ways to invest in the development of phones and send me the documents." Sora's orders weren't questioned, as Clive had always done. Clive had removed his distrust with the young Sora's abilities as he had seen how Yua Sora handled their company.
Most CEO's wouldn't even compare to the charisma and ability of Sora to make decisions to the company. Clive had witnessed that not only the old businesses, Sora managed to make profit to new ventures he took on.
"As you wish, young master. When do you plan to move to Miyagi?" Clive said as he scribbled on his small pad of the things needed to be done.
"Right now." Sora said and Clive quickly wrote down the orders, then knocked on the window that separated them from the driver, opened it and gave the paper to the driver.
Miyagi was a few hours away from Tokyo, so Sora could get a bit of a shut eye.
"Rest well, young master." Was the last Sora heard as he felt himself fall asleep.
