I walked over to Alec who was sleeping on the other side of the room, he looked peaceful. I crouched down and shook him to wake him up. He opened his eyes and started to freak out. He grabbed his bat, which was laying right beside him and swung it at me. I managed to dodge the bat just before it hit me. " What the heck was that," I shouted at him, his breathing was sharp and heavy, "s-sorry, I-I thought you were a zombie for a second," he said trying to calm himself. "I mean you're lucky I'm not, if I was you would have been dead..." I said with a straight face on, "and why is that?" he asked, looking confused, "that swing, a zombie could have easily dodged that, just saying." I said still with a straight face, "tch, whatever..." he said, turning away angrily. I got up from my crouching position and walked back over to my side of the room. I picked up my backpack and slung it around my shoulder. "Wait, are you leaving?" Alec asked "yes? Why wouldn't I be, I need to get to the safe haven." I said confused on why he was even asking me "o-oh, um, hey, u-uh, c-could I possibly, maybe, come with..." he said holding out the end of with "sure, whatever, come on," I said turning around and once again rolling up my sleeping bag. "Yes!" he celebrated, I smiled, hearing him get excited, i-it made me happy. I stopped smiling and my face went back to being neutral. I turned towards him after attaching my sleeping bag to my backpack "if you want to come you have to bring your stuff and you'll have to learn how to use that bat," I said looking him dead in the eyes "u-um, ok..?" he said looking confused "good, because we need to make a stop in Frankfort." I said walking towards the door " WHAT?!?! BUT ISN'T FRANKFORT STILL FILLED WITH ZOMBIES!?!?!?!" he shouted at me sounding surprised "yes it is, now would you stop shouting, if there are any zombies left here you're gonna attract them here and I don't know about you but I don't wanna become zombie meat!" I scolded "why are we going there!?!" he said in a whisper "it hasn't had many raiders because of the zombies, so I'm sure the police station is still not looted." I said trying to explain it to him "fine, let's go, but I'm not saving your butt if a zombie comes to attack you," he said glaring at me "I didn't expect you to." I said walking out the door and outside.

It was about 6:00 P.M. by the time we got to Frankfort. We entered the town through the front gates. We watched as zombies walked through the town, we slowly cheeped through the town. I spotted the police station and motioned to it. We snuck around a building that was reduced to rubble. There were zombies surrounding the police station. "Alec, let me see your bat," I whispered "what, why!?!?" he whispered back "because, I'm gonna clear the way." I whispered gesturing for him to give me the bat "do you have a death wish?!?!" he whispered loudly at me "no, now give me the bat!" I whispered back at him "I'm sorry but no, I'm not gonna let the only alive person I've personally met die, there's another way to go about this," he scolded "fine what do you have in mind." I said straight faced. Alec turned and pointed to a building that was just across from us. He grabbed my arm and dragged me over to the other building, this building led to behind the police station. "There's a back door right over here," he said leading me to the door "how did you know about this," I asked, talking about where the door was "I surveyed our surroundings, and I used to live here." he turned and looked at me "we should probably get inside before one of the zombies catches our scent," he said turning back and dragging me inside the station."There's a back door right over here," he said leading me to the door "how did you know about this," I asked, talking about where the door was "I surveyed our surroundings, and I used to live here." he turned and looked at me "we should probably get inside before one of the zombies catches our scent," he said turning back and dragging me inside the station. Alec lets go of me and starts heading towards a room that was labeled armory, clearly the place with all the weapons in it, I mean it's labeled armory! Alec opens the door, inside we find a GSR Granite, which is a type of pistol. Alec grabs it and then hands it to me. "Take it," he said looking me in the eyes "what, why?"

"I already have a bat, I don't need it."

"But you need long ranged protection too!"

"Calm down, there are more guns!"

" I- Fine..."

I took the gun and went over to another gun safe that was close to the other one and busted it open as well. There were more types of guns, there was an M-69 with more GSR Granite guns. There were a few different types of pistols too, but we only took a few of those, wanting to leave some in case other survivors were looking for guns and needed them. He reached over to a cabinet that was next to where he got my gun from. It was locked, he crouched down and opened up his backpack and started looking through it to find something. I figured he finally found it considering he pulled out what looked to be lock picks, what are we in Skyrim!? He used the lock picks, managing to unlock the cabinet " I didn't know you could lock pick?" I semi asked, "I learned when I was younger, my dad was a locksmith..." he said looking back at me as he opened the cabinet revealing another GSR Granite and an AA-12 shotgun, it was beautiful. Alec grabbed both of them and then grabbed a gun belt " here," he handed me a belt. I put my gun in the belt as he got up and put his in his belt, he strapped the AA-12 around his shoulder. We took all the ammo and started making our way out of the building. " Where to now?" he asked as he got up and looked at me " now, we head to the safe haven.
