BLEACH: Uryū Ishida x Reader

You picked at the seam of your dress again as nerves were starting to finally take over and you felt your heart rate increase. Your two best friends were going around and around busy with your hair and flowers, your makeup and what nots, a knock on the door making you sigh.

"You okay baby girl?" Your dad asked and you shook your head.

"I'm scared daddy." You said and Isshin Kurosaki smiled at you as he walked over.

"It's okay to be scared sweetheart. This is a big step in your life." Your dad said and you lifted your (E/C) eyes towards him.

"Can you girls give us a moment?" Isshin said as Rukia and Orihime nodded, making their way out the door.

"Honey, you two have been planning this day for more than a year, don't you want to marry him anymore?" You're dad asked as he turned you around and you could see yourself.

"I do daddy, it's just, what if he decides that we made a mistake? What if?" You started and the door opened revealing your future father in law and you sighed.

"(Y/N)?" Ryuken Ishida questioned and you smiled at him.

"Hello Ryuken. What brings you here?" Isshin asked his onetime frenemy.

"I came to give my future daughter in law a gift." Ryuken said as he walked over, dressed in a grey suit with a dark purple shirt and white tie.

"May I?" Ryuken asked and you nodded as he walked up behind you and placed a Quincy pendant around your neck.

"Never think about what if's my dear. If Uryu wasn't sure about marrying you he wouldn't have asked you. You two have been together for more than eight years and this is logically the next step, but Uryu loves you and that makes him a very lucky man. We rarely get to marry the people we truly love." Ryuken said as he kissed your cheek and you smiled at him.

"Thank you." You said softly as you touched the pendant around your neck and you found your father looking at Ryuken with a lifted eyebrow.

"Please don't argue you two." Ichigo said as he entered and smiled brightly at you.

"You look so beautiful (Y/N)." Ichigo said as he moved to hug you, but was stopped by an invincible wall.

"Don't any of you dare touch her." Rukia ordered and you laughed brightly.

"What? They will just mess up the master piece. Now get out." Rukia ordered and they all kissed you on the cheek quickly, getting out before Rukia got angry.

"Brother and I also have a gift for you." Rukia said as she took out a small black box and opening it to reveal a golden hair piece and you smiled as tears sprung to your eyes.

"Don't you dare cry (Y/N)." Rukia said as she twirled you around and placed the hair piece in your hair.

"There, you really are as pretty as a fairytale." Rukia smiled as Renji knocked on the door, whistling at the sight of you.

"It's time." Renji said and you nodded, making your way out the door.

Your dad was standing there in his white suit and purple shirt with a grey tie and you smiled at the contrast that the two men made.

"You ready sweetheart?" Your dad asked and you nodded.

Isshin looped your arm through his and placed his hand on your slightly shaking arm as he smiled warmly at you. He started walking and he held you tight, as the nerves finally started to catch up with you. As you entered the building, your breath caught in your throat as you saw Uryu standing at the end of the isle, dressed in a black suit with a purple shirt and white tie and the way he smiled at you, made you realize that this was truly what you wanted. You wanted to spend the rest of your life with this man by your side and you felt the fear and worries leave your body. You looked at your father and he smiled brightly at you and you smiled back as your eyes wandered over all the guests. The whole of the Gotei was there, along with friends from school and family members, you're brother was the best man and you smiled as you remembered that awkward conversation. As you stopped, your dad turned you to face him and he smiled as his eyes shone bright with tears, he kissed your cheek and took your hand giving it to Uryu and then smiled as he walked to Ryuken and everyone sat down.
